@anonacc There are 5 members in UNSC. The US, UK, France, Russia and China. All of these members do not want India to be in the SC. Because if India gets into it then Germany, Japan, Australia and Pakistan will also demand an insertion for the membership. Suppose hypothetically China agrees for India to get a UNSC membership. Immediately UK will use the veto to dismiss it. That's how it works. Ajit Doval once said a very important thing. "India does not have International friends. India has only strategic partners which are subject to change due to circumstances."

Yesterday in Republic Channel, Arnab invited the first lady in Indian Army as Lt Col Sophia Qureshi as Independence Day Special. She came with her husband Major Tajauddin and son Sameer, small kid aspiring fighter pilot. The family is committed to serve Indian defense and serve the nation. But Lt Col said about her experience in Congo as UN Peacekeeping force. A small girl in an orphanage requested her to unite her with her mom, the authorities were not allowing at tat time due to conflict zones. The girl was requesting her so Lt Col Sophia Qureshi convinced the UN authorities and saved the small girl through difficult situation from one side to another side of the country and untied her with the mother. The girl was so happy and thanked her a lot. This is how Indian army is not only brave army but moral army.

India is the world's biggest democracy country. Ever since they got independence from the British, there have no been coups (except a few bloodsheds like the Rajiv Gandhi assassination). Plus, they know how to stay on good terms with everyone including the big brother United States of America, European allies and even China and Russia. But with more US co-operation very likely in the near future, you can expect Mr Modi to cut ties with China and Russia soon.

There is no chance in hell india is going to cut ties with Russia. As of now we hv good relations with US but US was never our friend. They are just strategic partner. They played big roles in the wars against India alongside our enemies so no US won't hv any sort of impact on india russia friendship. Russia is one true friend of india throughout the history since India's independence 😇
