Good news! But can it cause eye strain? Cause blurry vision?

Yes and yes!

@@jdf3802 I'm assuming the only way to cure the blurry vision is by not looking at my phone? 😳 Not sure my new eyeglass prescription is correct either. So blurry! Ugh.

@@angiepattillo3599 your best bet is to use drops - the blurriness from screens is due to the lessened blinking frequency

@@jdf3802 but how long should the blurriness continue after walking away from the screen?
@jdf3802 Жыл бұрын
@@angiepattillo3599 maybe a few minutes at most. the longer it lasts, the worse your dryness is IMO

The “blue wavelengths” that the “doctor” is referring to that damage your eyes are not blue wavelengths at all but ultraviolet light which is the same light that causes skin cancer. This ultraviolet light will damage your eyes but your phone screen does not emit light in this wavelength therefore your phone does not cause the damage to your eyes that the sun does. That aside, your skeptic way of thinking is good and I applaud it.
