Since the manga is selling so good, the production committee (Kodansha) is rushing the adaptation due to the hype (money). Again, it’s honestly sad how GREED is the problem in the anime industry. These animators need more TIME and a decent SCHEDULE to produce a good quality adaptation. I won’t say it’s for ( every show ) but if you guys would pay close attention, you would notice how mangas that aren’t really popular in sales.. have a good adaptation especially talented staff with lots of free lancers… that’s because it’s no ( pressure ) to release the show so fast. But.. since Blue Lock is literally in every top 5 or 10 in sales, they are rushing the production to generate money and they dont won’t to kill the hype of the manga. Yea it sucks I would agree, but yup that’s how bad the industry is. They don’t care how great this man work is. It’s all about MONEY. Hopefully what I said makes sense 🙏.

The thing about Blue Lock is, mangakas wrote a tone of dialogues that anime would need put into the frame. I don't fully blame animators, of course they could do at least do their minimum, like make the freaking ball spin already. Animators must either hire someone to shorten the dialogues keeping the same message, or someone to come up with filler animation ideas not to keep the same frame while dialogues go. In Haikyuu we dont have lectures, it's just action-action-action-quick dialogue which makes it so smooth

One thing you have to appreciate about the anime though is the fact they add background. So many times in the manga, it's just white background with nothing but the players. The anime adds that depth we're lacking in the manga. And let's also not be too hasteful on the animation. I mean, this is like what, two first episodes regarding third selection? @Extendo- Movies just tend to look better because they often get bigger budgets as they often make larger returns. When you see a movie, you're paying a ticket price directly for that product, whereas watching the show only costs a Crunchyroll subscription, which also comes with a bunch of other content (this is super oversimplified, but the basic idea's there). That larger budget is only needed for 90 minutes of animation, which allows them to spend more time and money on each scene. Whereas a 15 episode season (~20mins per ep) needs to stretch the smaller budget over 300 minutes. That's why you'll see a lot of reused animation or still frames. With the smash hit of the IP they shouldn't be cutting corners, but they either have terrible negotiating skills when licensing the show to networks and streaming services (meaning less money), or they more likely answer is that the studio executives are greedy af and are trying to maximize profit for themselves at the cost of the fans
