Sadly, Blue Oyster Cult is too little know these days - but their mix of heavy rock, strong melody, and lovely harmonies is excellent. Back when there were stereo systems people owned, there was sometimes a volume level meter, either an analog needle or LED lights. The normal top end volume before distortion would have a ZERO on the needle, or all green lights for the LEDs. Above that point, the needle could go farther, and there were a few red LEDs to indicate over loaded volume. This song is the only one I ever saw that would either PEG the needle all the way or light all the RED LEDs. And it never got distorted.
