Good morning gentlemen. I have a request.... Please, never say the postseason is a crap shoot again. Would you tell Bruce Bochy that the postseason is a crap shoot? Would you tell Joe Torre when he manage the Yankees, that the postseason was a crap shoot? Would you tell that to Tommy Lasorda in 1988? There are a million ways one can make an excuse for the way a team plays or fails to play in the postseason. Also, stop asking for the braves to help us. Bring on the effing Padres!! Let's see what this billion dollar team is made of! The Mets!? Who effing cares! This Dodger fan PTSD stops now! Today! It's time to wrest destiny from the destined. Historically great teams make their own destiny. Enough with the excuses! Injuries? So what! There are infinite number of ways one can find rationalize away lack of success. It's either their time or it isn't. Baseball playoffs are no different than any other sport, in that the same fundamental principles of winning apply as they always have. Sure, let's talk about the regular season until we throw up. Last I checked there's no trophy for that. The Dodgers front office has brainwashed their fan base to perennial failure with their process-oriented garble. Bring them all on! And to the fan base ... Have some freaking backbone for God's sake. Where is your heart? Where is your belief? Has it been so neutered by your silver spoons that you quietly go into that good night? I have no idea if anyone will even read this. But this equivocating, speculating, and gesticulating has got to stop. It bleeds into the team. As JFK pondered once, there are some who ask why, I ask why not. Fellows... Why the fuck not?
