That looks similar to the glazed strawberries I put between two round yellow or white cakes. Then I cover it in Cool Whip and decorate the top with whole or halved strawberries. So good! I'll surely be trying this! Thank you!

Another comment, I called the local organic farmers and asked about strawberries. They are going to check for a case of strawberries in a week. See what you started :-). But, I think I will freeze dry them, or freeze them. Then I can make them however when I decide to eat them.

I just started watching you and it helps my anxiety. I thought I would share a simple treat. Take plain yogurt add coconut flakes ( I found bags of coconut flakes at the dollar tree) mix in a bowl however much you like and add chocolate chips. I use Ghirardelli 60% cacao chocolate chips but any kind is fine. Its like eating a mounds candy bar only better. Mmmm strawberry pie a summer delight.

Love this video!!!!! I am definitely going to can some of this. I have had strawberries go bad in the freezer in the past because the two of us couldn't use them quick enough. Do you just pour a jar into a pie shell and bake? What temperature and for how long do you bake it?

Omigoodness!! This pie filling is everything you said it was. So SO good and easy. I baked a single pie crust, let it cool, dumped in the filling and popped into the fridge. I did not bake the pie. Did your pie hold it's shape when u cut a slice? Tho my filling was thick, it wasn't thick enough to hold it's shape once sliced. I don't have much experience w clear gel and wonder if I should have used more or ?? Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance and thanks again for sharing the BEST pie filling recipe!!

The pie crust is baked separate for about 15 min 350 then when cool you add the strawberry filling serve it cold .

Only use a already baked pie shell the filling is not heated it is cold and put in the baked shell
