Blue Rondeau (Robin Frost, 1988) - played by Victor Beck

Robin Frost was a contemporary ragtime pianist/composer and has written numerous ragtime compositions. His finger-breaking and rhythmic complex piano novelties belong to my personal favorites. I find listening to and playing them a pleasure. Unfortunately, Robin died in March 2020 due to pneumonia.
I received the sheet music from Alex Hassan, who made copies of the original scores from his version of the Hot Kumquats and Other Frosty Treats folio, published by John Roache in 1998. I then digitalized this copy to show in my video.

Oh I love this one! Brilliant playing here! I've never heard that little intro though, there seems to be a thing with some of Frost's compositions and a sort of phantom intro.

You are right - the version by John Roache has a little different intro, as well as some slight differences here and there in the notes. I didn't realize it until you mentioned it!
