Blue Skies Clear Water

A tricky days fishing on a Mid-Wales stream.
There were a few fish in the shadows, but not an easy day.
Bright sun and clear water are far from ideal conditions,
but it’s hard not to enjoy a few hours on the river when the countryside
is a beautiful as it is.

Thank You. Glad your season is going well, our river have been very low. Thankfully there's a band of rain moving in with more this week. Hopefully I'll get out with teh camera again soon.

Tough fishing conditions for sure Luke but as you say impossible not to enjoy still . Lovely indeed. Streams over that way holding up just about ok so far it seems to me but hope at least a bit of rain does come!! Could do with losing that easterly too!

Definitely need the rain, there are a few showers about but could do with a good westerly wind to bring in some proper rain off the Atlantic.

Very nice Luke. We have still been catching fish from the Wye but rain desperately needed. We can see every fish and they can see us too !

hi Luke, thank you for another lovely video and at first I thought it was a west country stream, conditions on the vyrnwy and banwy grim and barely a sign of fish , have tried all methods over last 3 wks and had 3 dace and one grayling all 6in , there are good hatches of many species just drifting along without a rise to be seen so I am doing the rain dance and will be glad to see rain and a westerly wind. Thanks Mike, very similar conditions. There was reasonable fly, but nothing really moving. Hope the rain dance works and the rivers get a bit a of lift.
