Ii saw him do Blue Spanish Eyes once in concert. It gave me chills of pleasure The fiddle at the open was nearly haunting. Absolutely beautiful. I adored Ray Price from the first time I ever heard him on the radio back in the '50's. I loved his voice right to the end and his recordings since.. I like a few other artists but to me none of them come close to him.

I was privileged to see him in concert, twice. Some might not have considered him a good entertainer but, with a voice like his, the singing was the entertainment.
