+Danandbands I doubt you're supposed to. It is, in my opinion, a pretty nice reminder that the animosity trans people face doesn't just come from transphobes, but also from people like Rob who view the identity of another as a commodity.

I liked this a lot. It showed that being trans isn't a before and after jump, it's a process. Scarlett/Scott/whatever his name is didn't say "hey guys, I'm trans. Here's my new name, now I'm off to cut off all my hair, bind my chest and magically pass 100% immediately" and I really appreciated that, and also, the ending showed that you can be happy being trans BEFORE figuring everything out.

See THIS is what we need more of in the traditional media. Not only does it deal with LGBT+ issues, it does it absolutely incredibly. It captures what I have not seen before. the very beginning of a transgender person's transition. With people like Caitlyn Jenner, it was a huge jump because most of her process was hidden. It also captures the even slight generational differences. Not to mention it looks incredible! It's free of stereotypes and is just very honest. I couldn't ask for more. I could go on and on, but overall I'm astounded. It looks and sounds and is amazing. Great job guys!

I love so much that just because he was transgender didn't mean he completely changed his appearance. He wasn't changing him, just letting people know that he would be more comfortable with he/him pronouns. He still was feminine and stuff and that was okay because it's what he wanted. I love this so much.

It's really not for girls, you can do whatever makes you feel comfortable because ultimately that's all that matters, if they still won't let you do it you can do clear nail polish and mascara perhaps nude eye shadows and lipsticks, you can fill in your brows but do your makeup and nail polish however you want it!

This made me very happy. I just happened to ironically stumble upon this, I've been recently questioning my gender and I recently found that I am androgynous. Also ironically I just dyed my hair red lol. This gave me a wide smile on my face by the end, I feel like it describes a transgender person breaking free from the conformities and finding themselves with the people that accept that and leaving the ones who refuse to accept them in the dirt where they belong. Thank you Bertie for making this film, and having it miraculously show up for me in this time of my life.

I just finished and can I say WOW. Like an all caps wow. I've been waiting for this film all summer and I'm in love with it. The characterisation is beautiful. I fell in love with Scarlett so hard. Like dude marry me. I felt his pain and sorrow and just general feeling of being lost. Poppy rocks as an actor ta, thank you very much. I don't know much about cameras and all that lot but can I just say I love the massive focus on each character when they gave a line of dialogue. Because each line just seemed massively more important when you did that. I wish my band could have a bad ass sound like Blue Sushi. I admire the dedication in the music. It was awesome. You've made me cry as I was watching this but I cry at most of your films because I'm a big girl's blouse. Khyan was so great at playing a detached asshole that I could feel rage bubbling under my skin. I was so ready to strangle his clincally-spoken ass. Sammy and Bertie, you two are brill and have brought me much joy. This was very wow.

Personally, I believe this is one of Bertie's weaker films. The emotional impact seemed forced and some of the dialogue, especially in the second scene with Bertie and Poppy, was awkward and not very believable. I just felt like this film aspired to be something that it ultimately fell flat trying to achieve. The supporting acting was fantastic, however, and always, the film was visually stunning.

Shared to my dad, who is transgender, she loved it, she had tears to her eyes as so did I. I love this, I share it too my friends who don't understand transgender people like my dad. I love this, so does my dad, thank you Bertie! Well done!

the ending was perfect. it shows that you don't have to know everything, you don't have to know exactly who you are, as long as you are yourself, and that is so beautiful.

it's been nearly 7 months since this was released which i find so hard to believe as i so clearly can remember the first time i saw this and how i started crying so much when it finished. i'm tearing up again now. this film has been inexpressibly helpful for me in coming to terms with my gender and who i am and i'd just like to say a sincere thank you to sammy, bertie, poppy and everyone who worked on this masterpiece. i'm sure it has helped many other people as well as myself and also helped friends and family members to understand what it means to be transgender more deeply. so thank you, again :-)

I watched this before I found out I was bi and watching it again after coming out to my friends and brothers I can appreciate this way more. I always felt wrong bit I never knew why. I thought it was my ADHD or anxiety but after I came out I felt right, like I'd solved the mystery of my life. I want to live a full life now. Thanks for listening.

Wow. So, I watched the whole thing. It was riveting from the get-go. Honestly, so well-written and portrayed. The whole, "I laughed, I cried" sentiment certainly applies here. My only qualm? I only just wish it was longer.
