I love this dude. Great reviews, content, and music. Edit: actually i was about to get a shure sm7b cuz my dad is offering to help me, but since I travel too much, it's really impractical to carry the soundcard, cloud lifter, cable, and the mic everywhere. Considering i have so much other stuff. Yeti is travel friendly for sure. Just plug it in and good to go. So yeti it is. 😂 Update: My Yeti pro will be arriving soon!!!

So between THIS one (the Yeti Blue **X**) and the Samson G Track Pro.... what do you think? Using it for singing (all types), high-pitched voice acting (think anime level-high), and possibly podcasting. At 9:36 how did you get that added reverb effect? Problem is I’m wanting to do live singing so I can’t do any mixing on my vocals after the fact. But using VoiceMod for reverb has a significant delay so my voice isn’t synced with the music. I was hoping that the Blue Vo!ce software that is compatible with Yeti mics would all-but eliminate the latency on the vocal effects, but I haven’t ordered this yet so I’m not sure.

You should definitely check out the AT2020USB+ which will set you back around £150. I came from the Regular Blue Snowball (non-ice) and it was one of the best decisions I've made in regards to my setup. The audio quality and build quality is ridiculously good for the price. If you watch any other videos that compare mics, the AT2020USB+ always seems to come out on top. Big content creators such as Faze Jev (just to name one). Just make sure you get the USB version instead of the base model because it also has a XLR option that is quite a lot cheaper. Sorry for the essay but I'm bored asf in Quarantine lmao

good videos my friend. I just have a technical question for you. At this momento i have a USB mixer which i use to record my songs. The problem that i have is that if i play the prerecorded song in the DAW and i just want to record my voice over the music i have many issues doing it. The main problem and is the one that i can not get solved is that if i hear the music over my headphones i can not record my voice. If i don't hear the music, well record the mic but not an option. My basic question to you is if i can record my voice with this USB mic, plug my headphone into the mic jack and listen the music while i am recording? I don't if i was completly clear but i hope yes and you can help me.

Kelli please read this and see if you can help. i love your videos bro but i need some help, The blue yeti has Zero Latency Live Monitoring by plugging your headphones into the headphone jack at the bottom, its so much better than using adobes live monitoring feature because theres no delay! but i cant figure out how to hear my Effects such as auto tune when im live monitoring via My actual microphone. It only works when i monitor via Adobes built in monitoring feature which sucks due to the delay. my input and output is set to my Blue yeti and the Blue yeti speakers (so i can hear myself and my computer) so why am i not hearing myself with Effects?

I don’t think you can hear effects live without no delay with a USB mic. Even with a cheaper xlr set up. One of the reasons I went out and bought the Apollo Twin interface is for I hear the effects live when I record without no delay, never figured out a way to do that before with out it.
