Great review thank you ! I have a question about that mic: can you hear any "white" noise on the background? If yes, is it possible to remove it with the bluevoice options? I have this issue with my actual mic (bird um1) that's why I'm asking ^^

Hey! I'd say just go for the regular Yeti, as you won't benefit from the extra capsule, *plus* the Yeti X may draw more power from the RGB, which for what you're doing is a bit unnecessary.

Great review! I have the nano and I am contemplating on getting the x. My son will need a mic for virtual school and I was wondering whether to get another nano for him or give him my nano and getting the x. I do like the g hub integration of the x and wish the nano had it.

It's literally straight out of the box mate, I always keep it stock for the people that wouldn't play with settings to hear. The only thing I would have checked is if it was at 100% in Windows.

Not sure if you got to my conclusion in this video, (might be useful to hear if not) but it applies between the regular Yeti and AT2020. If you don't need all the customisable leds, or the multiple pickup patterns then save your money and go for the AT2020.

How close apart are you to the other person? If you're within a few feet then you could just use the 360 sound mode

I wouldn't recommend roaming period, unless you're carrying the mic, or using a lav mic. If you're moving but facing the mic it would work, but these microphones work best stationary

I picked up a Yeti X to replace my original blackout Yeti, and the live monitoring on the Yeti X sounds WAY more tinny or robotic compared to the original Yeti. Have you experienced anything like this?

Hmmm, I'm not sure I noticed that on mine.

I asked support if the X is trying to reduce background noise before sending the audio out the monitoring line out, because that's kind of what it sounds like. So far everyone I've asked has no idea what I'm talking about, but there is a stark difference. Even the recorded audio doesn't sound as bad as the monitoring line out.

The sound processing the GHub will not work on Mac's. Sell it is my advice and bjy a proper PC.
