Cool, this just further confirms that I made a very good purchase of the Blue Yeti X an hour ago. Can't wait for it to arrive. Make sure you get a decent usb cable to use with this mic as i had artifacts which must have came from a crap cable

Can I use this microphone with my speaker below the monitor (behind the microphone) when I'm doing conference calls or will there be feedback?

I believe one should always use a headset for conference calls to prevent the echo/feedback. I'm not aware of any work-arounds to that.

Would you recommend covering the capsule with a foam or draping the whole device while not in use, to avoid dust from getting inside?

The Yeti X has a 3.5mm jack out for headphones as well. I suppose you could plug this straight into the audio-in for your camera. You can see it 6:54 mins into the video.

For anyone wondering this is probably for the sound device you need to enable audio enhancements for applications to modulate the output. This can be done in the sound control panel in the properties section of the usb mic.
