You ranked this very high and effective, but also commented that it didn’t do a great job with removing cigarette smoke. We get smoke smell from a neighbour and hoped to find an air purifier to remove that smell that wafts over into our space. Will this do the job you think?

You could have your neighbour fed to the fishes for a fee ofcorse.

Really new to air purifiers..what does it mean with you mentioning it being ionized and does it negatively affect health in anyway?

You should do a video of the new Blueair 411 auto Vs The Xiaomi Mi 3H. Let see how that goes. Personally I have a new Blueair 411 auto. But I’m planning on buying the Xiaomi Mi 3H. Because the Blueair doesn’t have Smart features and it’s not taking out odors very good.

I will do it, thanks for the suggestion!

Blue air every time , the others are not good but a little fancier. Plus Blue air is lowest on my energy consumption. Win win …. The other one my friend has and is not great sorry x

Hi, thanks For the explanation but still confuse Which one to choose between levoit core 600s and blue air 3410 , my main concern is For rhinitis allergy. Thanks !

I would go with the Levoit if you plan to use it in a large room, and with the Blueair for a medium-sized room.

Hello, are you sure about your measurement of noise ? Because when I’m listening to your review of levoit 300 it makes clearly more noise (night mode) but has lower dbA than the blueair Thank you
@AirPurifierFirst2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I have been using the same noise testing tool since I started reviewing air purifiers. But right now, I use a different audio recorder, and that's why the noise recordings in some older videos sounds a bit different (louder). Watch any new comparison where there is the Core 300, and you will see the difference. In the past, I used a camera built-in microphone to record motor noise, while now I use a Sony voice recorder.

Up to 900sqft

The Blueair 411 Auto can clean the air once in 60 minutes in a 912 sq. ft. room, which means it has an ACH (air changes per hour) of 1. However, the industry standard is 4.8 ACH, according to AHAM. In this case, it is 190 sq. ft., not the 912 sq. ft. as the manufacturer said. So, I use 4.8 as the standard for suggesting room size for an air purifier. For example, the more polluted the room is, the larger the ACH number you would need. I wrote a few articles on CADR, airflow, and the explanation of other standards, which you can find on the Air Purifier First website.
