I picked up some garage tools from TEMU:

I have those exact calipers, got them from a 3rd party Amazon seller about 7 years ago. They appear to be an OEM sold by many Chinese sellers under different brands. For the money they are pretty accurate, problem with mine was after 3 years the electronics just went nuts and the digital display just displays random numbers even going over 300mm (they are only 150mm long).

That is one of the nicer features. You can easily throw in a rod for a quick weld.

Are the sticks for that small welder commonly available? How thick is the max metal this can weld(estimate)? Wonder how long it would lasts? Seems nice for a 2x ayr need IMO! From the few times I tried welding always felt better using a stick verses tig bt maybe just stick is easier to get started on? Sorry forgot in all my excitement thanks for the demo and help now to get one small enough the wife don't say what tool have you bought this week? Great help Thanks

I have a set of those calipers it needs a seal around the battery hatch one drop of coolant or anything and they give up straight away I obviously don't think they need to be water proof but they could still do a little better

I have a hand pump from Dollorama. I think it's 3 dollars Canadian, it only takes 3 to 7 pumps to blow up a bike tire. Sheesh, soo many stupid things on Temu sometimes.

I've got a deburring tool (chamfer tool) admittedly not from Temu, but it's exactly the same design and it works fine, just not on really small bolts. Perhaps you had a faulty one? 🤷‍♂️

When using a chamfer tool put a nut on first, that way it will cut a thread as you take it off.

Argh laptop crashed so trying again. At least I got to subscribe before it did. (HINT to all you casual scrollers - channel's worth a follow) Anyhow - thanks for taking the risk for us and bringing it as a good review. That chamfer tool I'm still going to buy because I make a LOT of dowels and I've just found my Answer To Chamfering My Dowels. With the calipers I have four, a cheap pressed metal one I started with and was so lousy I framed it with arrows pointin g to all the mis-spaced vernier lines, another analog one that works as well as my eyesight allows, and two digital ones from China, one was steel and is average, the second one is carbon fibre and despite being one digit less precision I still find more accurate so it's pretty much in one of my apron pockets all the time. I'm also impressed with the dual square and the welder - I still have my old man's Transarc Tradesman and it needs a trolley to move around plus it make slights dim so I moght check one of those out. Thanks again for a really enjoyable and useful video!

If you want to check your caliper settings use a penny. Pennies are 0.750"±0.001" when they are fairly new.

It has a light duty cyle. You won't be able to run longer than 5-10 mins without it resting to cool off.

It should shut off prior to tripping the breaker but as you can tell it probably isn't the best or most reliable.
