I make it a different way. You don't half-cook the potatoes and cauliflower first. When you add your spices, tomatoes and water, you then add your raw potatoes and wait a bit and then the raw cauliflower. It turns out great! I think I like the idea more because the potatoes and cauliflower have more time to soak up all that spicy goodness!!

That was good! Thanks! I improvised with blended tin tomatoes and fenugreek powder. Green chillies and dried kashmiri chillies at the spice frying stage worked well. Tasted even better in the morning!

Tried this recipe tonight. It was wonderful. I changed the recipe just a little, using fresh tomato and just a quarter tsp Kashmir chili powder. My husband loved it, with a side dish of lal dahl, and roti. I tried making aloo gobi before but it was a disaster. Thank you so much. This will be a regular from now on.

Just made this. Super easy and flavorful. Used freshly chopped Serrano peppers and added with onions instead of the hot chili powder, otherwise everything was the same. And like someone mentioned, don’t forget the cumin seeds; it’s in the video but not the recipe. Definitely adding to my collection of recipes. Thank you!

This is Indian cooking. Now you know why Indian dishes are tasty. Most Indian households would not use tomato puree but instead fresh tomatoes. Have this with rice and dal or dal and roti. Make the gravy thicker if you have dal with the meal.Nice video.

Well explain but I’ll cook it with my seasoning. Most of these seasoning I’ve never heard of and I wouldn’t add more salt because it was boil in salted water which she added at the end. It looks really tasty and I’m gonna cook it today. I got 3 cauliflower from a friend and my family don’t like but I’m sure when I cook it like this and place it on their plate as a side they definitely gonna enjoy it. Thanks for sharing
