Thanks for your question. Here's your answer. If the average person goes online and looks up how to grow organic blueberries or how to plant or grow blueberry plants they will find quite a few different answers regarding proper spacing of blueberry bushes. What we can say in response to that is that our entire family grows blueberries on a large scale, and what we have learned through the years is that 2.5" feet between blueberry plants is the best spacing. No real proven benefit to spacing farther apart.

Blueberries grow in forest clearing acid soil if you would like to grow blueberries in southern California just add forest clearing of pH of 4.5-5.5 level of acid ground. But the dirt doesn't need to be perfect, just add peat moss & mulch.

Yes but when you plant the blueberry plants, you just use 3.8 cubic foot bails of peat moss. Since peat moss has a very low pH of about a 3 pH, when you mix the peat moss with your soil 50/50 it will put your pH where it needs to be. Yes, because the vast majority of organic peat moss has a low pH level of a 3, so when you mix that in with your existing soil 50/50 that will quickly and easily put your soil pH where it needs to be without paying "soil scientist" for a year and wasting valuable time. It's technically called a 5' wide offset disc harrow, but because it's only 5' feet wide you have to go up and down each row twice to get both sides. It's good to rotate this disc with your other disc harrows and it's a little tricky to use because if operator does not know what they are doing, they can easily make ruts and ridges of dirt in places where you do not want them to be. So only to be used by an experienced person as it's a more advance disc harrow for specific cultivation.
