Where I'm from in Australia, being ATC is one of the highest earning jobs (approximately AU$151000 - $191000 a year). You have to appear for an all India test depending upon vacancies. On clearing the written exam you have to cross two hurdles - voice test and interview. I'm in training to become a tower controller in germany and it is both great and fascinating to see how similiar this job is around the world. Nearly everything in this video is known to me just because it is the same here. From the switch-up with the marshallers on the ground to the great feeling of delivering an important service to pilots from all around the world. Also massive kudos to the ATC Crew up in Mumbai Tower. 980 flights in 24h on a single runway is a really increadible accomplishment they can be proud of!
