If you call a puja a "strange" ceremony it makes you look either ill-informed or bigoted. Also, some little 90k IG model is hardly part of the upper crust of Mumbai.

Westernise doesn't necessarily mean modern. We have to be modern not westernise. The west modernised their culture. We have to modernise our culture. Don't copy from the west. Where is our identity?

To be honest on world scale some of Mumbai's ( and for that matter Delhi and perhaps Bangalore) is overpriced.. unless there is a emotional or economical need to be in these cities why would anybody pay such a prices? Building might be of high quality and highly specked but what you get after that as civic amenities.. now compare to places like Singapore/ Melbourne/ Dubai ...or even KL
