It’s one of the most populous cities on the planet with 22 million inhabitants, predicted to increase to 30 million by 2035. Nicknamed ‘the infernal Metropolis’, Mumbai is a city in perpetual development. But with millions of people living in slums located on valuable real estate, how can city planners balance the competing needs of the population?
Every day, new towers of glass or concrete emerge from the earth. Their residents? The rising middle class and super-rich of India. Women such as Jinita, a model, are following a new way of life in the megacity and carving a new style for women. French entrepreneurs are taking a chance on the growing city with new, trendy restaurants for local white-collar workers.

The team who has assembled this documentary seem to be the most unaware, lazy and pretentious ones going around with no knowledge or the will to work hard for a good story. They have gathered together a couple of rich "looking" English speaking subjects who may not have a penny to spare otherwise. The real young and crazy rich in Mumbai will be found in it's alleys and streets who are money rich, street smart with and not just Instagram rich. Stop looking at India through a European and American lens and you will find real success stories. And yes there is nothing strange about the prayer ceremony, do not use adjectives for things that you have no clue of.

India is conservative ??well look at our history i don't think so we turned conservative when we were invaded by different powers. Probably the only country where ancient records of sexual power (kamasutra), Where mention of LGTBQ, and other forms of life. Our women were much modern and held high positions while the west still saw women as BaBy makers and etc.

Get your facts right. No Hindu ceremony is a strange ceremony. There's a scientific reasoning to all. But that process is esoteric, subtle, metaphysical. Spend some time knowing, you'll be drawn deeper into this blissful rituals process. Along the way you'll also be able to find fraudsters with half or wrong knowledge of the rituals, its processes, scriptures, chanting methodology etc..

If anywhere in the world, the people want to practice their tradition and culture then from western perspective they are conservative. 02:30 She is trying to bring change? Why should Indians adopt a western way of life? Is western culture better than Indian culture? Western culture is a few centuries old but Indian culture is thousand years old but always adapting along with the changing world. I am Indian. I love my culture. You have your culture. Your culture is not superior to my culture. If I am not adopting your culture that does not mean I am conservative. If I am, then West is also conservative because the west doesn't adopt my culture and way of life.

Do ask the workers employed. They might not admit on face but they come very cheap and often are underpaid. No offense but as every Indian knows often the labour is taken for granted and there are many violations. Probably the pandemic has added to it also. City of dreams or city of haves and have nots. It will never be the same standards for the uber rich and the people at bottom of the pyramid.
