you dont need the amperage on the meter since when it is showing it is only reading the current of the light bulb and nothing more. You've basically just complicated your continuity testing

I had a glowplug cylinder 3 code so I changed all the plugs, engine light went away and now cylinder 1 glow plug light comes on a month later. Could it be the harness? All the plugs are good

Unless you have a faulty glow plug it is possible your harness got cracked when you tried to remove it. After all these years and heat from the engine, the harness can crack when removing it. Switch the number 1 to another plug and see if it goes away. Not sure if the all have one relay or each have their own relay. It is possible if they have single relay for each glow plug, the relay might have got stock and burned the glow plug number 1. Also if there is an issue on that cylinder might caused the issue for number 1. At this time I would just change the number 1 since others are new.

Hi If you think it is the glow plug, google it or look on youtube and see where are they located. You can try the same test I did to see if they are good or bad. there is a resistance test that you can do and compare with other glow plugs and see if they are bad or use the light bulb 12V to see if they light up.
