Blues Jr and Les Paul Goldtop Conversion

Yeah a cool tone for sure... I mic this amp for larger gigs with our Allman Brothers tribute.... Settings on amp are Master and Volume all the way up, Mid all the way up, Bass and Treble halfway up, fat switch off.... Big part of the tone is the vintage JBL D120. Gotta find one thats not too clean and bright... I like the broken in ones.

Congratulations, you pretty much nailed Duane's Fillmore East tone. And using a simple Blues Jr, amazing! So it's true what they say that he got a large part of his sound from the JBL D120s (and a 50w Marshall head). Thanks for sharing. I think I'll put together the same rig!

Oh thats easy..... to get the best pure tone out of these, both volume and master on 10, fat switch OFF.... Midrange on 10, bass 0-2, and treble about halfway up.... also this is a late 90s blues junior which are not nearly as bright as the new blues juniors which I dont like as much.
