Loved the jumping into the haynets. 😂 I think the link between being shod and flu vac is interesting. I believe they can sense whether the fence is on or not.

@@EJMEQUESTRIAN it was soooo comfy 🤣❤️ I never used to consider stuff like that until I suffered at the hands of the covid vaccine but oh my goodness it causes havoc in the body!. Going on research I've done, I think a horse would have to be very unlucky for a vaccination alone to trigger laminitis. But Blue being in recovery, plus a trim, plus gorging and a vaccination I think was all just too much. Yeeeh I think they know when it's on too. Smart cookies!

Hearing you describe how necessary box rest affected Blue makes me sad for horses never allowed turn out.

Me too. It's not natural for them to be shut in 24/7 and I do wonder if it accounts for a lot of the 'naughty' behaviours you get in horses these days.

My gypsy cob mare l owned years ago she was a bugger for barging through fences, I wonder if it’s something this breed loves to do, l mean they are built like tanks lol, you certainly look very comfortable Ravers, all you need is a cosy blanket and a hot chocolate, l’m glad Blue is better and I can understand your concerns regarding his hoof trim, tfs x Julie

For a sec I forgot what channel I was watching & as u focused the camera on the hay, I wonder if Tiny is in there!!! She wud have to work miracles in distance & time travel if there was to be any chance of that. Your robin sounds very happy in background when u chatting in horse box. I went to Glastonbury yesterday & the colour of the trees on the journey was just gorgeous. Have a good weekend.

You can also add additional metal stakes, I have 5 for my fence to keep the length of it strong.
