Love your case design for the external Blue Scsi v2. And I agree with you on they should revise the external one to use an edge mounted db25. I've designed several things using edge mounted dsub connectors and they are rock solid like that. Plus the connector is usually half the price of a regular pcb mount right angle connector.

They need to figure out how to flip it so the cards are on top of the connector

I was a big enough fan of the first version to go out of my way to build about 20 boards for myself, but found the ample supply of bung BluePill boards was throwing a spanner in the works with all sorts of weird issues. I'm happy to see the newer models using a fairly cheap but more difficult to counterfeit board so hopefully USB functions will be more reliable on these versions, among many other fun features added since the v1's USB beta (It's been a few years since I touched them last lol).

Yes, I don't miss the days of buying a whole pile of BluePills, only to find that none of them work properly.

If you can't sell them, it's not open source. It's "source available"

they have now made the board fully open source, before you had to redraw the pcb yourself to get around the non commercial license the pcb files had.

The information I included was unfortunately outdated. There are no longer any restrictions on sale of the BlueSCSI.
