Thanks, I really dig it. I swapped out the cone and biscuit bridge for a National cone/bridge.

@@BluesGuitarInstitute That explains it. I thought it sounded different than mine. Did you do the work yourself? I've wanted to put a national hotrod cone in it for a while but I'm reluctant because resonators are a lot more complicated to set up that the acoustics I'm used to.

@@aniquinstark4347 the cone was an easy drop in. Using the existing bridge made it easy. But when I changed to the national bridge and saddle, that definitely took some work. I'm still dialing that in. But again everything was fine and sounding good with just the national cone and the gretsch bridge.

Have only just discovered Charlie Parr due to your brilliant lesson . Came across a KZbin video of him playing 817 Oakland Avenue playing with 2 capos, one is a partial capo, that would make a very interesting lesson 👍

So glad you found Charlie's music, I'm a big fan of his music. I've dabbled in the two capo world before...fun stuff so maybe worth a vid from me. If you like that you should check out Phil Keaggy. Brilliant use of capos. Thanks for the comment!

This could not get me more excited seeing a lesson for song by the living legend, Mr Parr ... Thank you for this valuable sharing. Over the next few years as things allow, could you do a lesson for 'Over the red cedar'? Unless you have already done one......ciao.

Great tune, thank you! I don’t know why this didn’t appear on my YT feed...I would have noticed as I’m subbed and it’s one of my favourite Charlie Parr songs. Oh well, I’m here now...Play on!
