Three drummers. Charlie Watts. Fricking Ray cooper. A third one. Clapton was just a guy in the band. Winwood meanwhile has a simply magical voice, one of a kind. I loved this song as a kid and still do, 50 years later.

@@paulbrucker3345 the third drummer is the incredible Kenny Jones... the 45 minute soloist. Whilst Ron Wood, Rod Stewart and Ronnie Lane went to the pub next door for a drink and a bathroom break, whoops forgot they were in the middle of a set, took a second bevi. Sometimes an incredible performance like this happens... where a song starts out, and it just gains incredible momentum, with each musician just dialing it up a notch, and another notch.. the trust, and musical greatness from each musician felt toward the others feeds upon itself, and the result is a very rare, and totally great performance. Started his concert and with every new song he played I couldn’t believe the string of hits this guy had. Of course he had some Spencer Davis and Traffic rep to draw from, but he played for three hours and every single song was like major hits id heard before. Just incredible
