I love this Gene! I've seen you use this speaker before and I have wanted to buy a DIY ukulele kit and use one of these speaker kits in the uke kit for some multi-use cool art decor. I have an unopened uke kit just sitting around. I think it may be time to order the Rockler kit and give it a shot in a video. I've just about rebranded my Etsy store and KZbin channel to be the same. Getting rid of both names and they will now be one. I'll keep you updated. Great vid as always!

I wonder how you would do with one of the many Bluetooth mp3 -mp5 multi media automotive car stereos a your choice of speakers in like maybe a small cooler or a plastic tool box and either a cpu or a Amazon type 12 v power supply and I wonder how it would turn out and what kind of sound quality and signal or wifi receiver reception it would receive just an idea gene sir.. think it would be a awesome fun project and a great video...

Hi Kyle, I used an X-Actio and a retractable blade to cut the holes. Just take your time and do several passes.

Hi Kyle, I’m not sure about the overall size of that speaker. I would suggest if you have a Harbor Freight in your area? They have a nice selection of these boxes. Also Northern Tool has these too.

Nicely done sir ! Those bluetooth boards are all awful, u only listen to like 40% of the song’s quality, i used a board that got wifi, the quality is as good as an aux cable connection. But not as good as a Blu-ray player’s sound. I guess in the future they gonna add wifi to all bluetooth systems and add a zero to the price and call it next gen. Edit : Id recommend old 8ohms full range tv speakers also, they’re really great for listening

I have a Bose bluetooth speaker that sounds incredible but I had to pay $275. for it. But for $25. this one sounds pretty good. Technology is changing so fast. I can't keep up. Thanks so much for watching.
@medmusic79772 жыл бұрын
@@DIYGene even at 400$ with the best bluetooth amplifier you’ll still lose half the quality lets not even talk about 128kbps mp3 songs hahaha you’ll hate it, so what they do in most bluetooth speakers is give it more watts so that u dont notice a difference, try to listen to a song in bluetooth on the same amp n at same volume and then try to listen to it with aux cable or wifi because its lossless, you’ll hear a big difference, btw the one i used in my build is the Arylic Amplifier Board with WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0, i saw it on a Wifi speaker build on KZbin check it out if you want. And yes your speaker sounds great for the price, but still all bluetooth speakers sucks compared to wifi except if its a gigantic speaker box, then u wont notice anything
