Windows 7 64 bit, type in 'services' in search window in C: and then open 'services' looks like a gear. After you will see bluetooth settings make sure the start up type is set to automatic. If not double click to open and hit the drop down box to 'automatic' and then ok. Hope this helps.

IF ANYONE NEEDS A DRIVER PLEASE SEARCH FOR BLUE SOLEIL USB 2.0 DONGLE DRIVER OR GO TO THIS WEBSITE: I am not sure which one is right for your computer. But for me, all the driver does is make it recognized by the pc without error. it doesn't actually let you search and connect to bluetooth devices as far as i've seen.

I'm having a problem with the connectivity with my Windows 10 PC. The windows keeps updating my bluetooth driver frequently and ends up with a yellow asterisk on it. Each time this happens, I have to uninstalls the Bluetooth dongle from the PC and install again until it updates again after a day or two.

I didn't see you actually pair it with another device. Or actually see the "Driver Software Installation" window pop out when you connected the adapter. It doesn't seem to work on Windows 7's generic drivers, also no name to download specific drivers. Would like to see you actually make it work then share to everyone how you manage to do it.

It might be like you have a separate bluetooth adapter which have been what detected the devices on your video. Or you luckily, perhaps unknowingly, pre-installed the drivers we are looking for. I don't know, nothing is shown in this video, even the PC detecting the device after plug in is not shown.
