Greetings from Prince Edward Island, Canada. I have the EB70s and love it, I don't have the discharge issue. I was looking at the AC180; but six months ago it was $1399 CDN, then they upped the battery capacity to 1440 WH (AC180P) and I thought ok, getting tempting, then they dropped the price to $999 CDN so I was getting closer yet then I saw your hack with the EB70s and I just ordered the AC180P, it's cheaper than buying the B80 expansion, since I already have the EB70s. Great video. Glad I fired up KZbin tonight

I’ve used them together (EB70 & AC180) now on several trips with great results 👍 I did pick up an extra 200 Watt Panel though to keep these beast fed! This time of year the sun is lower, and one panel just doesn’t cut it! Glad you enjoyed the video!

I was going to upgrade from my Bluetti 500wh AC50S to a 1000-1200wh unit with a larger inverter. I didn't want the weight (or expense) of a larger unit, so I decided on a Pecron E600LFP 614wh with 1200 watt inverter for $300. I also daisychain them using the DC cig lighter on days too cloudy for solar. I get 94 watts out and 80 watts in using DC. Haven't tried AC, as the inverter eats a lot of juice on it's own.

I have a Ac180 and just hooked it up for the first time a few days ago to my Large Freezer in my Garage and got 15 hours before the battery shut down on the Ac180.I also bought a Bluetti PS72 from Walmarts for $283 and wondering I am sure it will do the same thing as your.I am wondering if you leave BOTH hooked up at once and Hooked up a Larger Freezer or indoor Refigerator Freezer and have it plugged in to the Ac180,will it work?Will I get at least 24 hours and NOT 15 hours as on the Ac180?Seems like a good idea since I only will use it if there is a power blackout.

PS72 - I had to look that one up lol! it looks like it has about the same specs as the older EB70 - it has 716 wh capacity - so you could use it to keep the AC180 charged up while it runs your Freezer! should help get you a few more hours of run time - probably I'm guessing pretty close to the 24 hours your looking for. Nice price for that - Have fun with it! Just make sure you use "quiet" or "silent" charge mode on the AC180 - tried to use the other two and they pulled more power than the EB70s could dish out. Standard charge mode pulled well over 800 watts!

Buy a timer and connect the AC180 plug to it. Set the timer to turn off at night. (Walmart sells them cheap). Plus you can hook solar to both units.

heres a really interesting question, can you... charge up the ecoflow river 2 pro from the bluetti? thats the question i like answered hehe :)
@HolidayForTwo427 ай бұрын
Simple answer: yes, as long as you have the correct charge cables connected. Although you didn’t specify which Bluetti model, it still works - but some models store more charge, which makes a difference in just how much charge it will give you.

@@HolidayForTwo42 the one that you showed, and the one for the ac180. because, i can run the ecoflow river 2 pro upwards to 940 watts though i like to get the most of the battery as well.

@@Mega1andy2 I would use the AC180 over the EB70 since it’s better capable of handling larger loads (like 940 watts up to 1700) and has a larger battery (1152 wh vs. 715 wh) that, combined with a solar system of 200 watts or more, you should be set. Also, you can pick them up on sale now around $650!

What I want to know is can I charge solar to the ac180 and the eb70 while the eb70 charges the ac180 with it’s power chord. I also want to know if standard charging mode worked or if you can only use silent.
@HolidayForTwo4220 күн бұрын
@@Crimithy yes, you can continue normal solar charging while it’s in operation on both units. If you’re using the EB70 as AC charger, the I’d set it on silent mode, but be aware that if you suddenly throw a large load on the AC180, anything over 800 or more watt draw, it will start to draw an equal amount of power from the EB70 no matter if you have it set on silent mode or not. If the EB70 goes over 800 watts, it will shut off (overload protection) and you will have to reset it. It’s only happened once to me, wasn’t an issue but surprised me 😯

I have both units and my main problem with the AC180 is that it won't charge from my vehicles 400 watt inverter. Not a pure syne wave problem I am sure. The EB70 will charge using the vehicle inverter. I found that you can use the EB70 charger to charge the AC180 but at a slower rate directly by plugging into the solar input of the ac180. Too bad I found your video after I discovered all this on my own. Great video.

Cool, I haven’t tried that way yet! Thanks 😊

Isn’t the AC 70 the successor to the EB 70?
@HolidayForTwo429 ай бұрын
I guess it all depends on how you look at it - Bluetti has released so many different model and versions over the last two years - it’s hard to keep track of them all really! I haven’t decided yet if that’s a good thing or not. It will be interesting to see how the company develops over the years compared to say, Jackery or Ecoflow Delta.
