Just as a test I powered it up to make sure it was in good working order and used the Beaudens 166 wh power unit that was in your review , It ran the set power refrigerator for 9 hours before I stopped the test Both worked great . the Beaudens Had about 40 percent charge left . Excellent review Prof. Hobo you addressed all of the questions that I had with the AC200Max vs. the EcoFlow. Based upon on my initial research I had landed on Bluetti being the winner (in my eyes) due to price, ease of use, and weight. Very smart for bluetti to have rubber covers for each plug in feature. I've noticed this is something lacking in the wee ecoflo Delta 1300. If the unit never leaves a home or office air conditioned enviroment, this is fine. So, or protection from dust, splashes, bugs etc the Bluetti has it covered.

@_GntlStone_3 жыл бұрын
If I understand it correctly, you should be able to do "pass through charging" ,or having it charge and discharge simultaneously, on the B230. would love to have confirmation on this. The fact that the B230 is a big spare battery that can be drawn on if you dont need 120v is a giant plus.
@MrPaddy924 Жыл бұрын
Enjoyed the video, thanks. Just a correction though. You said that the AC200Max could handle up to 1400w of solar, but in fact it can only take 900w. The additional 500w is via the adapter. It can charge via both simultaneously, so 1400w is possible but just not via solar alone.

I have the bluetti AC 200 Max with two b 230 batteries for a couple of years now. Works pretty well with a couple of problems. Problem number one the Bluetooth only works part of the time. I have to reboot the entire system to get it to work again and then it fails after a few hours. Second problem is that I can no longer turn on AC output through the touch screen. Clicking AC on does nothing on the touch screen. I can only turn it on through Bluetooth which comes and goes like I said, only works part of the time. If Bluetooth fails the system will be dead in the water. I contacted customer service and their recommendation was to ship it back to them and they would " take a look ". As long ago disposed of my boxes and have no packaging in which to ship the unit back so I'm living with the issues for now.

That's a nice setup. A little bit pricey for the Ah rating and 80% efficiency at the C rating. It's not a problem if you have an abundance of solar to cover the efficiency. If you are skiddish about DIYing your own setup, though, it's pretty brilliant as a plug and play solution. The 1400W of solar at 150V is nice from an MPPT perspective.

It's way, way more battery than I would ever need or more importantly, afford.

@HOBOTECH. Greetings! Thanks for all your vids and store. Subscriber and been following you for several years now! I've referred a lot of people to your channel! I was wondering if you have heard of this issue(I'm sure you have), and if you have any advice, since Bluetti is slow as Christmas in responding! I have 2 B300s hooked up to AC200Max and for no good reason after a year of use, both of the expansion batteries quit being recognized by the AC200Max. I am tech savvy, own a tech computer repair shop, etc. I have tried everything and have not heard from Bluetti yet. I went ahead and charged everything to 100% with AC power and the AC200Max still won't recognize the 2 B300s no matter what I do. Can't find much at all on the net about this, varied comments here and there and a bit on the Love My RV Channel. Also, my firmware is completely updated and the AC200Max otherwise still works fine. Thanks in advance and keep on putting out those double fisted vids!!!

Will it damage the generator if I were to use neutral ground bonding plug? My RV automatic transfer switch won’t recognise the generator because the floating ground…

Is this a system that will charge my Tesla in the bright daylight? My Predator 3500 can. I do have to fool the 3500 to thinking it has a ground first... but it is a 30amp plug unit. If I can charge my P100D w/solar, I'm totally in!

Absolutely. Be aware the Max only supports 120v where you can pair up the AC300 and get 240v.

Looks like the Bluetti is gonna tip over when stacked together.

Nope, it's fine as long as you put the main unit on the bottom.

I’m getting ready to buy the AC300 should there be a few left over at 7 PM on the 15th but have my AC 200. Just some advice to the newbies out there, it’s almost useless using 100 W portable solar panels. Today we had a bit of a sub par day in south Florida -with my two 100 W Bluetti portable panels could only get about 60-90 W coming into the AC 200. That was pretty much worthless it won’t even work for the day. So, I recommend you buying either the Bouge Rv 180W glass panels that Tom recommends on his link or buy 200 W Bluetti portable panels. I often lose easily 10 to 20% charging on these portable panels and a little bit less on the glass Bouge Rv. (I just ordered two more Bouge Rv today. They won’t be around long. New shipment came in.)
