@@todd.parker ah, thanks for mentioning that. So to confirm, if you have microinverters on existing panels, there's not a solution to get this to work with the EP900 inverter? I'm not sure if I should mention this in the video. Might just recommend people reach out to Bluetti if they have panels already set up and confirm it will work for their specific setup. I have standard panels on a secondary solar array on my house and didn't run into that issue. What's the difference between the AC500 and EP900, why the difference in naming, this is confusing
@todd.parker Жыл бұрын
They are pretty different. The AC500 is a large plug-and-play system with a 5,000w inverter that you can just hook together and use like a powerful power station. The EP900 is more of an professionally installed, whole home system like a Tesla Powerwall that is designed to be hard wired to your electrical panel and grid meter. It has a 9,000w inverter - there's no output ports or display so you just install it in your basement or garage and monitor it from your phone.
@ThunderJarvis Жыл бұрын
I just got off the phone with customer service and they said the EP900 is the inverter and the AC500 the batteries for the system. That makes sense because 3 of the AC500s combined with the EP900 inverter would give you close to 18-19 kWh and 2 of the EP900 and 6 AC500 would give you over 30kwh max system.
