You know? One of the things I wish they did with the Rival Rush mode was using Stardust Speedway Bad Future US as the background music It fits the theme of the mode,but I can see why they didn't After all,it would be like,3 games in a row where they use this theme for Metal Sonic (I just love that song to death)

Oh no I thought of something much better. Metal Sonic races at Tropical Resort = Stardust Speedway JP Sweet Mountain = Vs. Metal Sonic from Sonic 4 Starlight Carnival = Stardust Speedway US Planet Wisp = Vs. Metal Sonic from Sonic thr Fighters Aquarium Park = Red Gate Bridge from Sonic Forces Asteroid Coaster = Metallic Madness from Sonic Heroes I was thinking a different Metal Sonic theme should play depending on where you race him.

@@bryanc7094 No one was sucking off anyone If anything he was doing the OPPOSITE, wishing more time was put into it which is what people can and are allowed to do. Sonic is successful financially, Forces sold crazy and so did Colors Ultimate. You also don't realize how hard Iizuka works behind the scenes

​@@kaobunn I respect Iizuka for putting so much effort in the original Colors and Generations. Especially with the original Colors artstyle, original stages, bringing back Super Sonic in stages in a modern Sonic game, and proving that platforming can last throughout an entire Sonic game without resorting to the hack and slash genre crutches. Now I feel confident in being experimental since those games now provide a new stable model for a modern Sonic game. They even made me appreciate Unleashed more.

More development time wouldn't change the fact that the devs at Blind Squirrel are treated like Chinese Sweatshop workers that were given the wrong parts of the game to handle. As soon as SEGA tasked them with this, it was doomed to fail.

Honestly the only downside for me is the music. Sounds more like a minigame than an actual rival race. Especially considering that you are facing Metal Sonic.

i appreciate what they were going for with a colors styled remix of some CD tracks, but tbh i think it would've been cool if we just got CD styled remixes of whatever stage he's racing you on.

Modding Sonic games is a double edged-sword. They're awesome in their improvements to the games. But it also allows SEGA to sit on their ass and make things like Sonic Colors Ultimate. Fans literally fix major problems within days.
