If I were a cave diver, I would only dive cenotes ( I hate silt ) using rebreathers. The World can have the rest. No problem. I would hang out with Rory and have Woody, Gus and Jonathan as guests in my house, all the time. My Kiss rebreather canisters, fins and straps would be Bright Purple.

I wish I was there with you! Zack became a pretty good diver since that episode when he got certified. He has a good buoyancy control, looks pretty relaxed, and he does a frog kick! He was born for The Blue World!

Ive done 109 dives since getting certified on March 17th, 2020. About half of my dives have been “Intro to cave” dives. Starting my full cave and ANDP this weekend! He executed this dive effortlessly, and I'm certain he will do really well during his certification!

In Mexico they play fast and loose with "Caverns" cause, realistically although it is not constrained, It is quite a distance to the surface. And Like Jonathan said, you have to be Open Water Certified and be led by a Cave Certified Divemaster

Awesome confidence Zack .. didn’t seem a bit that you went into the cavern for the first time.. I would be hell scared if it was me going in the first time .. nonetheless, I haven’t gone deeper than 4 feet in the swimming pool 😂 or more than a feet deep into the ocean .. let me know if you need replacement for editing videos ..

The best way to get a bunch of dives is on a live aboard. I’ve done 7 a day including a night dive. 15 dives in 3 days easy. 20 to 25 rec dives in 5 days. Tech dive 1 or 2 a day. Much harder to build up numbers in technical diving

You are basically doing a big loop with the cenote that they surfaced at in the center. At no time should you be more than 100 feet from either cenote.

It seems like a long way but we went around in a huge circle between two entrances and we are never out of sight of daylight--staying in the cavern zone.

On a side note a fun episode idea would be to go out with some of the surf/wave videographers/photographers and give a behind the wave (;P) look at what they do and how they do it. It takes a lot of understanding and experience to do and seems to be ignored and forgotten as an activity in its own right.
