As a kid of the 'always fighting parents', i think it would be nice in a way if we see some issues come up later where trixie and stripes are in a 'break'. Like, it would be a GREAT little thing for parents too- having a section of the series dedicated to a couple working through their issues. not ending it, but doing the work to therapize and counsel! since with wintons dad it was very cut and dry, and with juno and wendy is presumably cut and dry, i think showing trixie and stripes realizing they have issues and working to change it, would be a very pleasant change from "nah theyre just gonna split".

Well, the Heelers have always been showed to be quite wild. Both the brothers are showed at one point or the other letting their crazy side shine. Bandit is constantly doing that when he plays with Bluey and Bingo and we know that Rad fell (possibly) on the pool during Bandit and Chilli's wedding. So it's no surprise that Muffin gets her craziness from Stripe. Even Bob is showed as acting silly in "Grannies" when he makes those crazy dances. Maybe the brothers get that from their dad.

Stripe kinda has a point. You can’t just surprise your wife AFTER the wedding by saying “oh btw we’re moving from everything and everyone you know and love, that’s cool right?”. You’d think Rad would bring that up BEFORE the wedding to his girlfriend/fiancé. So it was kinda fair for Stripe to assume Radley would TELL or at least ask Frisky that they’re moving BEFORE the wedding.

It makes me a little sad how people seem to equate "don't always get along/occasionally argue" to "definitely splitting up for good." I don't think Trixie and Stripe will get divorced. Maybe occasionally need little "breaks" from each other but that's basically any relationship, of any kind. No matter how much you care about someone, you will get frustrated with them if you're always together.
@eglol
@eglol 27 күн бұрын
I think they mainly got it from that one scene where it seems like Trixie is telling Stripe something that gives him that expression, and then he walks away. It definitely looked like something was going on there, but not huge enough for a divorce at all. Very true statement about how you'll get frustrated with people if you're always together, doesn't even have to be a couple, but friends and family in general. I like what you said here

I think it’s to show a different dynamic. Chilli and Bandit are quite similar whereas Stripe and Trixie seem opposite and fall out more. An unresolved argument doesn’t necessarily mean divorce. Maybe they made up later or when he got home the day after (that bushes scene cracks me up! 😂)
@rafaelmatos5851
@rafaelmatos5851 27 күн бұрын
Well... I wouldn't say Chilli and Bandit are similar, but rather that they have learned how to deal with their differences and how to balance each other. We can see they push and pull evenly their shared responsabilities and are always there to support each other when one makes a mistake. With Stripe and Trixie, we can see that there's some imbalance in their dynamic, something that may be because they are rather new to parenting in comparison to Bandit and Chilli. Not to mention that it's clear that Trixie tends to hoard parenthood, as we saw in "Faceytalk", and Stripe tries to avoid the more complicated parts of it (possibly being the reason why Trixie normally takes the reigns). But, even if they argue a lot, the two always come around and, in the end, they end up forming a great team as well.

I get where you’re coming from with working through things but some marriages can’t heal, sometimes people don’t seek help, sometimes people seek help and it still doesn’t work out, and I do think it’s a good thing to explore. Although yes arguing doesn’t really mean divorce the show was originally geared towards kids and showing them that divorce is okay is important if they end up in the same situation as divorce is out of the control of the children who are involved. It helps teach coping mechanisms and sympathy for children of divorce which helps prevent bullying and promote understanding. I also commented recently that I would like to explore a temporary divorce or even a long term break between Stripe and Trix where they have to work out a joint custody situation such as weekly or biweekly swaps and then get remarried or renew there vows after being estranged for a while or truly just being divorced and showing their kids that it doesn’t matter if they are apart because they still love them both even things like shared outings and holidays can be depicted not all divorces are “two Christmas” and “two birthday” situations everyone does divorce differently and maybe these two are better as good friends then as husband and wife. That’s just my opinion on the matter. They could also end up working things out or it could end up never being dove into during the life of the show. I just think that as Bluey ages the audience does too so discussing and showcasing heavier topics would be important as times goes on. Honestly I hope this show never ends but even though “the show must go on” we all know that “all good things must come to an end” and the creator said he wants the stories to all have happy ending so I just hope that they are planning seasons all the way up to 10 I know they are really focusing on quality too and that makes me love the show even more.

I think if they do explore divorce again, it would be with either winton or judo. I think because of how things went on, stripe assumed rad already told frisky, and trixie assumed stripe knew he wasn’t suppose to tell her cause as rad said himself, he not good at those things. So again it goes with the whole miscommunication message going on in the story.

Well... Winton was already introduced as a child of divorce and we don't know much about the relationship between Judo's parents. I think they could explore divorce again, but more regarding its effect on the childreen during it and not just after it. I mean, Winton seems to be okay with the situation as it is, now that he had time to proccess it. But I feel they could do a great episode that focused on showing how hurt children get when they see their parents separating... Basically a more complex version of what Chucky went through in "The Decider". Even if a divorce is friendly between the adults, a child (especially a young one) will always have a great deal of difficulty to proccess all that.

@@Angninjin22 Yeah, possibly... with divorce, we also get other things like remarriages and blended families. And it's not just regarding Winton and the Terries being close to become stepbrothers, but also because Winton's mother can also find new love as well, meaning our little English bulldog will have two different families and we may see him struggling with that as well.

Arguing is normal in every couple's relationship. But it does make me look back and wonder why they had Stripe catch the bouquet. I hope it was just being for the sake of silliness but it makes me feel like it was a foreshadowing that Stripe divorces Trixie but remarries again in the future. Rather than divorce, I would like to see an episode where Stripe and Trixie realize that their arguing so much is affecting what their kids think relationships are like. That's what I feel like could be being built up to with Socks pretend playing an arguing couple. Maybe even have it so the end goal is not for them to just argue less, but to try and make sure that their kids see them make up and resolve their conflicts too. I would also love to see more family shows like this address how often adults don't realize young children are listening in on their bickering and gossip. I knew so much about the adults in my life when I was little that I had no business knowing, just cuz I was quiet and people didn't think I was listening. People seriously underestimate the passive listening skills of small children. If they're playing nearby, there's a good chance they're absorbing a lot of what you're saying without either of you realizing it.

I like this. This is a family show. A message to parents too. Just because you argue doesn’t mean you don’t love each other. But it does affect the kids. It would be good to see Trixie and Stripe realize that and try to work on it. They won’t be perfect at it, but even trying to not argue will be noticed by the kids too. Maybe one of the issues will be that Stripe plays too much, and Trixie takes it too serious.

I don't think they're gonna divorce but when someone asked one of the storyboard artists on Twitter if Stripe and Trixie were okay, they only responded with "I'll have to get back to you on that" which appears to be left ambiguous. This could be a plot line they want to explore in a potential fourth season. I don't even think they'll go as far as temporarily separate but we might potentially see Muffin and/or Socks mention them attending couples counseling. Also anybody else noticed that Trixie was trying to catch the bouquet with all the other single women and children? It could be that she was doing it for her kids but coupled with how their relationship issues aren't solved like Rad/Frisky and Bandit/Chili, it does feel a bit off

My husband and i used to bicker a lot more when our kids were younger. As they grew we really realized they were learning how to communicate from our example (you know, but until you hear a child quoting things you don't realize you say all the time, you don't REALLY know). I wanted better for them, and frankly, for all of us. So hubby and I sat down and had some hard conversations. It has taken years of practice, learning new habits, and plenty of backslides along the way but we communicate now. We argue plenty, bicker and fight rarely. My point is, maybe the younger Heeler family is just that, a younger family. Still learning their own ways to make things work for them.

I would love for this to be a more parent learning moment rather than a divorce. Sometimes, Parents don't notice how their behavior effect their children. To Strip and Trixie, these fights aren’t serious. They always make up and come to an agreement at the end. They don't think about how their kids interpret these things. Probably because both girls are under the age of 5. I would love for Stripe or Tixie to notice Socks playing like that later on. Or maybe another adult sees it and brings it up. Which can open up a dialog between both parents and they can learn how to have these disagreements in a much healthier way

I completely agree. Sometimes it's better for the kids in the long run (more often than not) if the parents split from each other if things in the marriage are starting to affect the children negatively more and more. I'm not completely sure or not but Socks playing with the wedding toppers like that may be her also trying to cope with all the arguing if Stripes and Trixie have been doing it more and more similar to how Bluey and Bingo were trying to cope with almost moving in Ghostbasket. One thing for sure is that no matter what the next season may bring I'm sure it'll be quite interesting and of course full of heart like it always is.

If they do get divorced. I think they would get together again in a future episode or something like that. Maybe to show that relationships can be fixed and improved on, or maybe if they don’t they can show an mutual and healthy break up. I would love for them to tackle mutual breakups and how they always don’t have to end unhealthily.

I agree that would be a good bit of closure especially it would bring things full circle since Stripe caught the bouquet at the wedding which at least in America idk about everywhere else means he’s getting married next! I also love the second idea I mentioned it in a separate comment that them finding closure and deciding to be friends sharing holidays friends and joint custody but still being happier apart are great ways to showcase divorce in a way kids can understand and that they can work through even if not all divorces end that way.

I absolutely love this show, I love so much how diverse it’s become. That being said, yeah as much as people are different, that’s how many parenting styles there are. I dear friend told me once that relationships are like gardens. You will get out of it, only what you are willing to put in. FaceTime, we saw Stripe and Trixie argue but then make. I thought that was lovely. I think they need some time away together, Bandit and Chilli got time away together in Escape. Maybe the same could happen for Stripe and Trixie. 😊thanks for listening. I can see Stripe and Trix working it out. They argue, but they're not being unhealthy. I can see the concern with Socks. I hope a future episode could be about them realizing how they argue affects the kids and we can see how they might try to work together to help them argue less, or at least less around the kids. I hate to see so many people assume divorce because they argue. Relationships take a lot of work no matter what, and i imagine that work is at least doubled when you're raising kids together. As long as two people truly love each other, they can make it work. People gotta stop giving up on love so quickly. ❤

Parents fight, some do more than others, but it’s more common than you think. Yes, sometimes it can get messy and lead to horrible stuff, but sometimes at the end of the day they still love each other. I really hope that Stripe and Trixie don’t divorce, but if they do I hope it doesn’t end badly.

Argument doesn't always equal divorce. Sometimes people argue, and that is normal too right? It's what happens after that argument that matters. So, through this I keep thinking. " Is this even an argument? " The first one, about Stripe asking Frisky if she's moving... That is a conversation. And they were both confused, as it seems Rad only told Stripe but he thought everyone knew. Stripe seems to have little impulse, doesn't think ahead and doesn't consider what his actions might cause. And some adults are like that, kids call them "fun"

Divorcing when kids are younger is loooads better than when they’re older becuase young children are still very flexible and resilient. Older kids have routines, expections, understand lying etc and it’s more damaging to go through a divorce as an older child than a younger one. My parents divorced when I was around 3-4 and it hasn’t affected me too much (at least, the divorce part- my dad being a deadbeat on the other hand…)

I also noticed Trixie and Stripe arguing throughout of the episode, but when I saw them later on acting lovely with one another, I assumed they had just solved the issue. Because that is quite the point Brumm shows: that couples can argue sometimes, but they can solve the issue in their own way. Sure, Bandit and Chilli also argue, but I feel like that they have learned how to compromise with one another or never quite let their different perspectives stumble upon what they feel for one another. While with Stripe and Trixie we see that they have more difficulty to do just that, but eventually they make up and everything ends well. One thing that I noticed is also of course their different styles of parenting. Bandit and Chilli co-parent quite well. They are a team and always push and pull evenly between one another their shared responsabilities, being it the kids or chores. But then again... they are parents for far longer than Stripe and Trixie, since both Bluey and Bingo are older than their cousins. And we can't forget that Muffin is 4 up until this point, so they are still prone to make many mistakes, like with saying the wrong thing (like Stripe did in "Library") or using some more stern methods to discourage behavior (like Trixie did in "Muffin Cone"). However, I feel that, even though we already have Winton (and possibly Judo) as an example of a child of divorse, it doesn't mean we can't have another example. I mean, when we met Winton, his parents were already divorced. So it's possible we can get an episode where we actually see a couple divorcing and we see the effects that can have on a child. But I don't see any of the Heelers (from any of the three couples) getting a divorce. If I would have to guess... maybe Pat and Janelle (with "The Decider" possibly hinting something like that) or maybe the parents from either Bluey's or Bingo's class.

I could see a scenario where they have a kid whose parents are directly going through a divorce (though it might be less likely since they already did the metaphor in The Decider), but I don't think they would have Stripe and Trixie divorce, particularly because a divorce between them would be way more impactful than it would be for a normal family due to both of them being such close friends with Bandit and Chilli (not to mention the parallels between Stripe Heeler and Dan Brumm).
@rafaelmatos5851
@rafaelmatos5851 27 күн бұрын
I agree. If we are to get to see a couple going through a divorce and see how kids deal with it, then it's not going to be any of the Heeler couples. If I had to guess... maybe Pat and Janelle, since Brumm already used the fact they support different rugby teams as an anology... It wouldn't be hard for the Heelers to get involved or learn about it, since they live next door to them... not to mention Bandit and Pat are close friends. But, if that happens, I feel that the divorce would be quite friendly and they would remain as friends... However, even the friendliest of divorces can still have an immense impact on the kids and the episode could focus on that. If not them... then maybe the parents of any of Bluey and Bingo's friends. The girls could even get affraid that their parents would also get a divorce... especially if we consider that Winton is already a child of divorce and he could tell Bluey and his friends how awful it was to experience seeing his parents separating.

My simple thoughts on it are this. The Heeler Boys, collectively, are *really bad* at expressing their intent to their wives, and it comes out very clearly here in how both Rad and Stripe talk to their wives. Rad did *not* expect Frisky to react this poorly, and did not consider that he should have told her sooner - and Stripe clearly has trouble being on the same page as Trixie in more than just this circumstance. But, that is okay. Nobody in a relationship is perfect (remember the episode Perfect?) but we manage to get through it anyway. I think that Trixie and Stripe having friction at the wedding here is more of a nod to the reality that this sort of thing always seems to happen at a wedding - some couple feels heated for reasons outside of the celebration and try their best to keep it away from the rest of the party - but if you notice it, then you *really* notice it and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Though I do think that Stripe is going to the dog house after waking up in Wendy's rose bushes the following morning.

i think the arguing at the wedding was about the cake, maybe stripe got more cake or he tore it, but I believe that they aren't divorcing, they just bicker more than usual, and going by how Muffin acted as a granny, maybe Trixie is just the more serious while Stripe is the lean back one

From what I think, I think there might be an episode of where muffin thinks they'll get divorced like they're going to have such a bad fight that they just growl at each other and walk away. And that scares muffin and but then, while the girls are visiting them, muffin goes downstairs. And over hears stripe talking about a divorce. Along with trixie and of course that terrifies muffin She then decides to come up with a romance dinner for her parents. Just like how bluey and bingo did, but then the date goes terribly wrong and muffin overcome with fear blurts out that now they're going to get a divorce and she runs off crying. Which, of course, shocks Trixie and stripe, and they explain that they aren't getting a divorce and they ask Her what on earth made her think that she then explains that she overheard them. And then they explained that they were talking about their friends. They then go on to tell them that sometimes parents fight and that's okay and sometimes they need space, but they always make up in the end, just like they did. They apologize to each other while the kids weren't paying attention. Muffin and socks hug their parents. And then Stripe orders pizza cause they're not eating that dinner cause it's gross. At least that's what I think will happen.

Mrs. Doubtfire explains perfectly how Divorce can actually be a good thing. Both Robin William and Sally Field’s characters Daniel and Miranda Hilliard eventually realize that they actually get along better separated. They remain divorced with Danial taking the kids during the hours Miranda needs to be at work. Which we know from the plot of the movie is what he wanted. He wanted to be apart of his kid’s lives and he realizes that he doesn’t have to live in the same house to be with his kids. All in all the Hilliard’s divorce is a perfect example of how two people can learn to grow as people and as better parents for their kids by separating.

I think it really is to show a different family dynamic. Like with Winton saying his dad isn't living with his mom meaning they are divorced/ broken up or Wendy seemingly not having a partner also for whatever reason or Rusty's dad not being around much due to his job. Not every family is as harmonic as Bluye's especially with very little kids around and even more so having a rather demanding toddler like Muffin. I think Stripe's Heeler family branch is basically supposed to contrast Bandit and his family. Like Socks and Muffin being sisters but arguing a fair amount different then Bluey and Bingo, Trixie and Stripes arguing more and still figuring out their rhythm. Don't forget: Chilli and Bandit are older. Stripes is the youngest brother so I assume Trixie is around his age so they are the younger couple (I assume Rad is mid to late 30s, Frisky probably being around Chilis age so something like early 30s, Bandit and Chili are something like early 30 ish and Trixie and Stripes are probably mid - late 20s). Plus Trixie is a strong personality so I can imagine she and Stripes bicker more often. That doesn't mean that they hate each other or don't love each other but I think it simply means they aren't as calm like Chilli and Bandit handling stuff

I think we're going to see an episode where it's implied that Trixie and Stripe are in couple's councilling, but doesn't outright say it (just like it never outright says that Bandit wants to get a vasectomy or that Brandy has fertility issues). The episode will focus on Muffin and Socks sensing that something is off with their parents and probably catastrophising about it or taking it upon themselves to "fix" their parent's marriage. I can see it being an episode about how to communicate with kids about your marriage issues in an appropriate way. Sometimes marriage is hard and takes extra work to sort out, so it's important to leave it to the adults. All the kids need to do is focus on being kids. I think it would also be a great way to destigmatise marriage counseling and challenges. Your marriage isn't a "failure" if it gets difficult to hold together at some point. I also think that once Trixie and Stripe feel secure in their marriage again, they'll have a ceremony to renew their vows, which is what Stripe catching the bouquet was foreshadowing.

As an adult that grew up in a house with arguing parents, I’ll say that it’s tough and sometimes mentally and emotionally damaging. No communication from both parents and the kids would become agitated while fighting each other, or others. Fighting isn’t very good for the kids and would explain why Muffin is such a nightmare(I hate her, sue me). When parents fight, it would sometimes make the kids act like them and sometimes take their aggressions out on others. Muffin would sometimes have angry meltdowns over small things and would take it out on others. She is 3 years old, but sometimes, kids that young could learn to react the same as their parents when they watch them fight. We had an episode “The Decider” with Lucky having to choose which parent to be with during the big cricket game. It was almost like an allegory for divorce. But if Ludo Studios have an episode like that for Stripes and Trixie, i think it might help kids know about parents separating for real, but would teach them that even if mommy and daddy don’t love each other anymore, they’ll always love them no matter what. Just my opinion.

I think theres only one thing I disagree with, but this might be a weird take: I can't agree with the statement of 'he wants to write happy endings, and a divorce is NOT a happy ending.' A divorce *can* be a happy ending, like it isn't ideal but it isn't the end of the world. For some families, it's the best, happiest outcome. I don't think it's fair to lump a divorce into a sad/bad ending at all. I will agree that because there is already representation in divorced couples, we might see a couple that does go through counselling and reconciles/rebuilds their relationship- or it's just their dynamic

Ok, totally off topic and I know it’s not the point of this whole video but you asked about Judo’s hair so… it can actually be just a few months: dog’s fur grows deceptively fast. Not sure if it’s the case for Chou Chous, but I cut my Maltese really short and she’s back to being a little dust mop in 3 months or so, so it could be around that long between Dirt and The Sign. Oh, also, I don’t believe divorce equals sad ending, it could be (under the right circumstances) a good ending: if they fall out of love and are mature about it, keeping up good communication, the split can be amicable and instead of the girls having to watch their parents be sad with each other and the possibility of resentment growing they can grow with two parents that are still friends and love each other but just aren’t in love anymore. That’s what my parents did when I was a kid, and after watching classmates’ lives implode in a bad divorce or hearing stories of how miserable their parents were together or how much they fought I can assure you I was ecstatic that my parents didn’t do that and remained friends. TLDR: divorce can be a good, happy ending too ❤

While I don't think Trixie and Stripe will divorce, divorce *can* be a happy ending. I think the fact it can be good and healthy to do so should be taught more. Also the fact that episode would be aimed more at the PARENTS could be used to teach them that their children are not a commodity in the divorce like a sofa. Treating kids like commodities to be divvied up and fought over is what makes divorce "bad" and traumatising for kids. I think more shows like Bluey should teach parents better ways to go about divorce- put your kid in therapy the moment you decide to start to divorce, go to therapy yourselves, remember that your children are people too, and help ease them along in the process. Divorce isn't "bad". How people go about it is bad.

I mean I wouldn’t be surprised, because that one episode with the Faceytime it looked like Trixie was having a hard time letting Stripe deal with the kids. I know they worked it out after and worked together to deal with Muffin but it seems like Stripe’s a very hands off parent (with a couple of episodes with even Chili looking annoyed) and Muffin is …. difficult. So I could see how that might drive a wedge between them. Christ I can’t believe I’m so invested in a children’s show my son watches 🤦🏼‍♀️

I didn’t actually notice the background stuff with Stripe and Trixie when I watched “The Sign” for the first time. It took reading the online transcript for me to notice, and then I began to worry a bit about this very idea. I wasn’t certain either way, and that was what worried me. This video is the first I’ve seen of this issue being addressed, so I’m glad I wasn’t alone in noticing. Thank you for uploading this video, as it’s a relief. And now that it’s been said, it occurs to me that having Stripe and Trixie break up wouldn’t fit the tone of this episode anyway. The conflict is the fear that “We’re not all going to be together anymore”: Bandit, Chilli, Bluey, and Bingo are looking to move to another city, Rad apparently expected that Frisky would move to where he was already living. But the resolution is that this fear is allayed: Bandit rips out the “For Sale” sign after he learns that the Sheepdog couple decided to buy another house instead, and Rad is now going to quit his job on the oil rig and move to Brisbane where Frisky already lives. (And the latter means we’re likely to see more of Uncle Rad in the future-yay!) Stripe and Trixie breaking up (even carefully concealed in the background, as it appears here) would conflict with that whole dynamic, because that would then present at least the possibility (especially since it wasn’t addressed directly) that one of them might be leaving. And even if Joe Brumm wanted to go that route and have Stripe and Trixie break up (which I hope won’t happen!), it would just feel cruel to have it happen in this episode in particular, especially if it was relegated to the background and not addressed directly so the audience can deal with their feelings about it. So thank you very much for this video!

This is the first time we see Socks since 'Faceytalk.' In that episode, and in 'The Sign.' we see how she can just take in total stride the chaos going on around her--she is used to craziness at home and can just sit and draw flowers whilst a three-ring circus is going on around her. Oh, and in 'Verandah Santa,' what were Stripe and Trixie doing while their youngest daughter was distraught and crying in the yard after what Bluey did while they were all playing Verandah Santa? I get the impression that Stripe and Trixie had been overdoing it a little bit with the liquor. It's possible that liquor may be influencing Stripe's occasional irresponsibility at home and elsewhere. Yeah, and Joe Brumm SAYS he prefers that all the story endings be happy, but he's been full of surprises lately, hasn't he? I wonder if he's being completely straight with us. He's been shown to have a lot of little surprises for us, so strap yourselves in, kids! Because of what you pointed out, I now doubt that Stripe and Trixie will be getting divorced any time soon, but there are other unexpected unhappy endings that can suddenly pop up--case in point 'Gone With The Wind," and Bonnie's horse-jumping, and all. 'Bluey' is aimed, in part at toddlers, but even toddlers have potential access to stuff like Bambi's mother's death, 'The LIttle Match Girl,' some of the crueler parts of B. Potter's works, oh, and also, some of 'those' scenes from 'Watership Down,' and from 'Animals of Farthing Wood.' I personally wouldn't put it past Mr. Brumm to include some intense stuff in Season Four. He's already engaged in some gallows humor interspersed in various episodes of the show so far. And also, a cute little budgie and later, a cute little guinea pig have ended up being murdered in different 'Bluey' episodes. Calypso says, very ominously 'We'll see!; We will indeed see! And let us pray that some little 'Bonnie Blue Heeler' does NOT take up horse jumping! Because there's nothing to stop some toddler from finding THAT scene on KZbin, featured in GWTW! There are also no parental restrictions on the Bible's Old Testament either. Let us all brace for the typhoon!

I personally think that they could really do a deep dive into divorce by doing either a spin-off series that focuses on the Terrier-Bulldog family and the dynamic between this new blended family and the other parents involved while still getting Bluey screen time at the glasshouse primary school or they could wait until season 4 finale praying that there will be a season 4 and 5 and do a short episode where the divorce happens another extra long episode where maybe the kids are split up or they have weekly or bi-weekly swaps and it shows that dynamic there with things like visitation or shared custody and a final episode that either showcases Stripe and Trixie’s remarriage since he caught the bouquet at Rad and Frisky’s wedding and they realize that they need to do better as a family together or where they just focus on showing the kids that no matter what they will both always be there for them regardless of their own relationship because divorce is real and it’s still sad but that doesn’t mean it can’t still be a happy ending but the remarriage after a short divorce is definitely a better happy ending. I still prefer the Terrier-Bulldog spin-off option maybe also get Bluey’s next birthday out of the way during the spin-off so she can be a bit more mature in Season 4 bingo can be closer to Bluey’s previous age and the introduction of Brandy’s baby who I really want to be a boy since there are four girls in the grandkid generation already. I also really want Brandy to name her son after a liquor like Rum, Whiskey, or Scotch even if it’s just a nickname for Butterscotch and have a red healer baby because there are three blues and one red right now. I also really want a pregnancy announcement for Frisky but she just got married so it’s probably gonna be a while unless they have a honeymoon baby. Season 4 Mort will hopefully not pass away but it would be a good opportunity to discuss death on a larger scale just like divorce there are a lot of adult fans who want to see this show dive deeper on certain topics but they have a lot of things to decide especially when it comes to The Mouse side of things because the Mouse loves to make things harder and they’ve already censored a lot of things.

I just assumed everyone called an Uber like in the cellphone app episode with Mort. I don't think they had designated drivers for the wedding.

I like to see stripe and trixie as the younger versions of bandit and chili. When you are married and have young children all of your disagreements will come to the front. Stripe and trixie are younger than bandit and chili and their children are a few years younger. I think they will eventually get themselves together like bandit and chili but they have to "squabble" until they figure it out dor their own family.

They kind of remind me a little bit of my parents, mostly because they seem like they're just young parents still figuring things out and yeah, couples argue a lot. But I think it's just the way that they communicate also, it just seems like stripe is the kind of person that enjoyed parting a lot and Trix seems to be the type of person that is more organized so maybe it's just the 2 different personalities often clashing. But also, they work really well today. So maybe that's just the case between the 2 of them.Situation of opposites attract but I also think they might share the same love of music cause they totally do love each its not hard to see❤

I would love to see an episode where Trixie and Stripe has big argument on something so they both decide to take a break, there Bluey and Muffin mistakenly thought Muffin's parents are getting divorced so they decided try to get Stripes and Trixie back together but to find out that they wasn't going to divorced, instead Stripes brought a fishing boat or something without Trixie permission first, in the episode it's help kids that not all parents can divorced in snap of finger, some parents argued but they don't hurt each other like other parents does, they take a break and come back to talk more about what they like to hear. So yeah, I think that would work. 😅

Another thing worth mentioning is the idea of a bouquet toss is whoever catches it will be the next person to marry. Since Stripe got it, that could leave some room for speculation. I dunno, I just thought I’d bring it up, I personally don’t think they will get a divorce but if that’s the direction they wanted to go, I think the writers could do it well.

Chili and Bandit are a tough example to live up to for many parents. While the Bluey universe is typically very happy and positive, the addition of a couple who don’t always get it right and struggle sometimes helps to ground the world in realism and sincerity. It would be too easy for the show to become overly saccharine and off-putting with forced positivity and idealism. And I’m sure a lot of parents watching Bluey appreciate that the show recognizes that not all parents can be Chili and Bandit. More often, they are Stripe and Trixie.

You know what- We've never had an episode where Bluey and/or Bingo go over to Uncle Stripe and Aunt Trixie's house (outside of a family gathering for "Christmas Swim," and in "The Pool," where Stripe, Trix, and the cousins were away). I think 5:57 could possibly be why. Bluey is shown to be a bit sensitive and doesn't like fighting. This could just be me overthinking it and theorizing- But that would mean Stripe and Trixie fight a lot. Idk, it's just something I just noticed. TL;DR: Because of the fighting between Stripe and Trixie, and Bluey saying she doesn't like fighting ( 5:57 ), I theorize that that's why Bluey and Bingo don't go over to Muffin and Sock's house for playdates (from what we're shown). (Side note but another branch of this theory could be that Bluey doesn't like seeing Bandit and Chili (Mum and Dad) fighting is bc maybe she's seen Stripe and Trix fight, and it sort of traumatized her. She doesn't want her parents going down that same path.)

I honestly am fine with them going either way, but I feel like them getting a divorce, or at least a ‘break’ from each other, could be an interesting to cover.

Not necessarily. Even though they are opposite in a lot of ways they obviously love each other. When they butted heads in Faceytalk they talk it out and hugged each other and teamed up together to deal with Muffin.

I started hearing Trixy and stripe talking in verandah when their convo finished and like the part where stripe was maybee drunk and ended up at Wendy's bushes😂 And when stripe and trixy dance together ❤️ 😂 that scene just cracks me up And I didn't even notice stripe and Trixy arguing at the wedding when socks is like playing with those cake dolls, my focus was on socks😅❤

The drinking and drunkenness really shows blueys maturity because kids don’t know what alcohol is, they have no idea how it effects your body. It’s just their for the parents to relate because of course their are going to be drinks at a wedding, did they have to add that detail, no, but it made the show more realistic for it.

As someone who is a child of divorce I actually do hope that trixie and Stripe do get a divorce, let me explain. My parents used to argue all the time and even I would mimic that behaviour (like sox did) and it wasn't good. When my parents got divorced though they disliked each other for a while, sure, but they eventually got along to the point where they help each other out with like cars or decorating and they even go out every now and then for coffee to get along. I feel like of they showed this in bluey it would help children realise that it's actually okay for people to not love eachother and even with your family split apart it can still work.
