May I add that your opponent has 21 outs on the flop with his open-ended straight flush draw. 4 8s, 4 Ks, 3 Qs, 3 Js, 7 other spades. All in all 21 with an 84 % chance of hitting it in 2 cards.

Cool, finally new videos after 3 years of waiting) I d like to ask, why do you think our opponent will call on flop with this type of hand. He has straigh and flush draw + 2 overcards to the board. So he has a lot more than 50 % chance of winning against us. I saw many times people with this type of monster draw check raise the flop or turn and push next street because in long run its + EV, dont you think ? But of course it depens what type of player is playing agains us.

Yes but then that doesn't give the villain the opportunity to bet himself if he has a weaker bluffing hand. In this case he had every draw in the world but in a lot of situations he wouldn't. If you checked he might check back and you lose value if you do bluff catch him. This is why it is better in general to play in position too

But a good player would sometimes raise on the flop with JQ of spades in this scenario so his range to conceal the strength or weakness of his hand? Doesnt it get much harder then ?

Looking at Poker out of the box, one can see a pattern emerging. There are x type of players. There are players that play Poker to make their bankroll bigger so that they can later invest that bankroll and buy something of value. For example a house, a car, a boat, vacations, etc. That means that, its impossible to loose that money after their value had been spend. There are players that play because they want to rank up and gain fame and respect in the Poker community. Become a Poker Pro and gain all the fame and the recognition that a Poker player has. That type of player aims for a much grater bankroll. One that will allow him to play more games, bigger games, bluff more frequently, not be so much afraid of loosing and ofcourse waste more time playing poker than the 1st type of player. The 3rd type of player is the one that plays solemnly for fun. He likes playing poker, wasting money and win from time to time. Poker for him is a hobby and like any other, he has to pay for its price. The rest types of player are all the possible combinations of these 3 major ones. There are players that play for both the fun and the fame. Or both the fame and the investments. Or all the above. But each and every one player on a poker table, have and will always have, different motives and different aims. The higher the aim a player has, the more difficulty it would be for someone to beat him. A player with the highest aim, would have the highest amount of poker education, research and determination to make big, out of poker. Players that want to later on invest their earnings would be easier to beat and those who play just for the fun of it, wont sometime, even know how poker should be played. That being said, one can say that the number one Poker rule would be: "Ask yourself, why are you playing Poker?" You can't win if you don't set the winning conditions. Nice video btw

87 of spades would call the flop though. It is within that expectable flush draw range

Why lead out? You are very unbalanced - what are you x/raising for value and bluffs? Your lead says that you have a ten - very easy to play against. You are value towning yourself vs his overpairs.
