Blur was my favorite band when I was in a very bad spot as a preteen. Recently been going through a lot of hardship; heard this song the day my 15 year old cat died and it really brought me back to why Blur is and has been my favorite band for years. Love the vaguely 70s stacked horn harmonies that are half melancholy, half majestic. Am I hearing a "Hissing of Summer Lawns" influence in some of Damon's new songs? I thought I heard it a bit on Cracker Island too. Anyway, lovely aesthetic, lyrics are a punch in the gut.
