Blyton Park Review in a 2020 Mazda MX5 2.0 litre 184PS ND2

This is my first time at Blyton Park, learn a little bit about the history of the circuit, watch a couple of laps and hear my thoughts about what it's like driving around this short track in North Lincolnshire.

i live 10 minutes from here, just a shame they dont really have any good viewing areas or id be there filming all the time, as for the circuit it really does not feel like a race track and could do with some serious upgrades to make full use of the site as a track! p.s. your suspension looked so soft it was like sitting in a boat !

You mentioned stone chips. Do you have protective film on your bonnet, fenders and such? Another question is do you keep the ESP on or of on a circuit? Nice upload. Cheers.

I don't have any protection, I am of the mindset of the cost of protection and the cost of a front end respray I would just pay for paint in 4-5 years. The protection is noticeable and can go yellow. The ESP is always off on the MX5, turn it off as soon as I turn the engine on. Although it is a good system that lets you go a bit sideways.

Good demo of the MX-5 capabilities. Remember to change the gearbox and diff oil as gets really hot tracking and degrades.

MX-5 parts sell the Mazda LSD oil and crush washers. The gearbox takes (API Service GL-4 (SAE 75W-90) you can't get the Mazda gearbox oil in the UK. Spec and capacities in back of the manual.

It's standard apart from brake pads.
