I ended up doing no burbles. The downshift sound gets overpowered by it. Best burble setting though is RPM you can leave a nice low duration aggressive burble and have it fire over 5k. Anybody tailgates you and you can give them a nice shotgun blast. LOL

Car sounds and looks insane man, got myself MG Flasher for my f30 330e, they also make tunes for b58, got 390hp and 478 lb-ft on stage 2, still wish I had a b58, much cleaner sound :D

Finally!!! Someone who does a BM3 stage2 review. So this is the v2.3 stage 2 93 correct? All you have is the high flow DP and intake?

Ok well many have complained about this newest version of stage 2. Apparently the version before yours was v2.2 and it basically disabled TC causing many to go sideways to the point where one guy lost control so badly he crashed into a median. You have 2.3 which enabled TC but some say has some weird quirks. Now v2.1 is the best as many say. Crazy boost down low. I have stage 1 v2.1 93 with a high flow ER DP. Check out some of my dragy vids on my channel. There kinda old but I think there are some 0-60’s and an 1/8 mile. Keep in mind I don’t use LC in any of my runs. Let me know what you think

Other than I’ve found it pretty smooth so far. You’re hitting some good times! You do have that Xdrive though for the launch. May have to snag a dragy and see what it can do

I have a 435i and I have the car prime mmi and I never had issue's with it while tuning but only had issues when using bimmercode where it would not connect to the ECU unless I unplug the mmi and revert the connection to the headunit

Oh no way!! I asked Pro Tuning Freaks and they said it would interfere so I’m not even going to try it. That’s pretty lucky you don’t have any issues then 😬🤙🏼. Not like it would screw up anything, would just have to have them reset ECU during work hours. I haven’t tried bimmercode with it lately

Nice!! Smells a tiny bit but nothing like fully catless lol. I also wouldn’t say it’s a significant increase in sound but paired with dual res delete it sounds really good. Def made the car a bit louder

Boutta install my high flow dp tommorow, been on stage1 with intake for a couple months now.. what do you guys recommend for exhaust settings? I have the MPE backbox only and both resonators deleted.

I posted up my recent burble settings in my POV video. I also have throttle blipping enabled thru XHP which lets off 2 pops on downshifts in highest sport setting. All up to your preference but since there’s still a cat I would not go aggressive burbles bc you can still blow it out potentially

No it’s not ,I had the bm3 and after I tried MHD I realized that MHD is actually better and more aggressive then bm3.plus MHD is way easier to flash then bm3 , just use the phone and that’s it , bm3 is more headaches,you need the pc with you cuz their app doesn’t work as good. With the MHD black adapter it’s literally less then 5 min to flash the first time and after it takes just 30 sec.

Did you change your spark plugs first or no ?

No but did shortly afterwards. OEM plugs are fine. My car has about 20k miles but still needed to change them bc it’s a 2018 car and they’ve never been changed. Especially now that I’m tuned

Because I had a MMI car play device at the time that’s not native so when flashing it could interfere and brick the ECU

MHD is a bit more aggressive and want something more conservative for now. Definitely not stopping here and plan up the power and maybe do a custom tune. Also heard MHD didn’t have the best customer service. Are you on MHD? What’s your experience?

@@skrrtproductions I got MHD on black friday - however BM3 is nice you can sell/transfer over the license once. MHD promised Antilag, Map switching etc earlier than BM3 did, so I bought that, but BM3 eventually released it earlier than MHD.... It also seems like more tuners prefer MHD, and MHD has more safety parameters for Antilag, mentioned from a BMW group chat, and also Thicwhips possibly blew up his motor overusing Antilag with BM3.

Those savings! Haha nice. True, I have no interest in using anti lag, I’m not going to be pushing my car like that. Yeaa in Jon’s case that motor also had 60k miles on it and a pretty aggressive tune so who know how the previous owner treated it. In the end, both are pretty similar, also bootmod3 flex fuel kit seems interesting and I may try that down the road. Or even switch to MHD or another software if I get into custom tuning.
