Henry needs to make one of these in 7.62x39. Even cheaper ammo and almost 30-30 ballistics.

If you are a very observant, careful, conscientious individual, you can take your typical tube-fed lever action and fire modern spitzer style bullets through it no problem whatsoever; just never load more than one round in the magazine and one round in the chamber at a time. Fire, load another. Fire, load another. You essentially have a fast two-shot.

I'm subscribed so I can learn more from you, I'm real impressed with your knowledge about all this stuff,. I've become disabled after a life long career in heavy construction 59 now, so I took up firearms target practice as a hobby because with my neck screwed& plated and low back bolted with rods and screws and both shoulders fixed ,I can't do much of anything else. Not to mention constant PAIN ! ALSO I figured self defense would be a good idea (considering my condition) I'm a year in now got the CCW and hit the range once or twice a month. I got a lot to learn yet ,. Thank for teaching guys like me Buddy .

Nice video. What a desirable carbine! Henry makes wonderful rifles. I have three of '94 models. A standard in .357 mag, a fantastic 30-30, and a .44 mag in a true carbine (very carbine-y). All have been flawless on deer. --- of course, in the Pacific Northwest our blacktails don't get too large. I expect to have all of them until I visit the happy hunting ground.
