I had the model 19 as a kid. I hated shooting it because of the massive barrel flipping after I shot it.

The best gun was a special run of 250 Model 64 with a 2.5” barrel, 357 Mag. Gun that I should never gotten rid off!. Was marked NYSP, got it brand new. I grew around revolvers. Until the M9 replaced everything in the service!.

That really is sweet. I think the large frame is so much more comfortable to shoot. The 3" barrel also helps in target acquisition even with hard sights. Very little recoil for a revolver. .38 Special is one of the most classic guns.

The S&W model 10 is one of my favorite guns to shoot. I bought it from Aim Surplus. Its old and beat to shit and i dont care if i drop it. I was blown away at how accurate it is.

The Model 10 is a true American classic.

For years I was an auto loader only guy. Well, I still like them if they are reliable, but I must be getting old because I love me some wheel guns these days. Most of the time I carry an 8 shot revolver over my M&P Shield. I do love my Shield though.

My grandfather had this gun. It should have been left to me after his passing but I have Liberal parents and live in Canada. I remember the first lesson out at the fishing camp... Fifty+ years ago. He had his pistol from WWII and it alWays came to camp with us. (Middle of nowhere in the bush) He used to say it was for bears. 😂 Bushwackers more likely. Thank you for the memories.
