Brother, it’s all good as long as you are pulling the trigger and working to get better. Don’t pay no mind to trolls who question 100 yard shots. If you consistently shoot 1 moa at 100 yards, that’s half the width of most large mammals torsos at 1000 yards. You are well within the zone and gold. Like your content. Keep up the good work. I will like and subscribe.

They all used to be "cheap" however Marlin Model 60s are no longer made and Ruger 10/22s are grossly overpriced these days $300 - $325. $200 - $250 would be fair by how they have really cheapened them over the years with plastic parts, MIM metal parts, and ugly "wooden 4x4 pallet grade lumber" stocks. I remember when you could buy either one for $99 - $145 at Walmart and a 500 ct brick of ammo was $8.99 - $10.00 not all that long ago (90's and early 2000s). Never mind the 60's, 70s and 80s prices, but that was K-Mart around here. We didn't have any Walmarts until 1990 here in Northern Indiana. I needed a cheaper .22 LR to keep loaded by the backdoor for varmints. I went and bought one of these for $149.99 at Rural King. My Marlin Model 60s especially my 1967 and 1976 18-shot Glenfields are family heirlooms. My Dad paid $39.95 for the 1967 at K-Mart and gave it to me for my first rifle. They have substantially increased in value since they are no longer made and old vintage ones at that. My Ruger 10/22s have gotten too expensive for a role such as this as well. For a gun you always keep out and loaded to be $150 or under is ideal and a good target area.

Is the width thinner than a .38 special? Lighter overall?

Why you're not getting the best expansion is because of the gel block you're using. 22 plinkster does a good video on this on why it doesn't expand very well with that specific gel.

Great video, thanks! Only trouble is, I was planning to get the the 4" version, but now you've gone and complicated my decision! The longer barrel is pretty sexy. Great shooting as well, cheers!

Another superb review by our favorite gun guy Jason! About the higher price tag, yes it’s a yeeouch but looking at this from the longer view, that could be seen later on as nothing much if we consider that this probably is the best made most reliable 22 handgun ever made that can do it all in the best and the worst of times. Later on it may be that even 22 ammo is hard come by, but if a fella has planned ahead and stocked up enough then that’ll put wild meat in the pot to feed our family.

Since 2020 I have noticed a lot of inconsistency in velocity of CCI .22 ammo resulting in sub par accuracy. You covered it all, sir, well done.

It's hard to get an accurate peak reading with the revolver held by hand. The best way to get consistent results is to setup in a jig or rest. Of course its not the sapce shuttle, but great video none the less👍👍
