BMRA - Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area (on Dirt Bikes)

My first trip to Barnwell in Gilmer, Texas. Had a blast on the single track, but the Gnar jeep trails were the best. Trails were marked well and had some go arounds for the really crazy stuff. This is the first real test on the 2021 Beta 300rr Race Edition. With help from a friend, I discovered half way through the trip that my shock rebound was too stiff so I softened it 8 clicks which helped a ton. The roots and trees on the singletrack were bouncing me all over the place so after a while I wanted to get off of it. Mud holes were plentiful, got roosted pretty good and covered... got a good laugh out of it but no video. Also no video of my crashes: over a downed tree, going fast and hit a root, and one launching my bike up a slope onto its side.

I'm a trail rider from the mountains of the PNW. I was afraid TX was gonna be too flat, but after seeing this... I'm over the Moon about a place like this! Awesome footage 😎

Ya Texas has some great places to ride. Hidden Falls Adventure Park and CTOR (Central Texas Off Road). Nothing like the Pacific Northwest but it doesn’t snow much here so that’s cool.

Was your gasgas a 250 or 300?

I actually just bought it. Was curious what happen to monitor and headlight? I thought it was a 250 but for some reason paper work says ec300

@@dustinenduro44 I figured haha. Well thanks for replying. I think I'm going to put a bigger rear sprocket on it, it seems gear a little high for some of the stuff I ride. Hopefully it lasts me a while.

@@Xgraham04X It was a great bike for me and I'd love to have kept it. The timing was right and wife said I could buy a new bike so out it goes. You'll enjoy it.
