For everyone who's hating on the new BMTH, bands change overtime. They obviously can't be the same as when they started. If you miss the old sound, then listen to their old songs, but bands need to evolve. Like people, bands mature. They can't stay in the past. Yeah I also miss Sempiternal, but I'm not posting stuff saying things like "This album sucks" or "What happened to the old BMTH?". And I'm not hating on people or trying to be rude. I'm just saying my opinion. BMTH is one of my fave bands and I will always like their music.

So back from 2012-2015 I was with this guy who is known since we were 10 years old and I watched him choose drugs and partying over me and everything else in his life. This album from start to end literally describes my experience and for that; I am thankful. This album put into poetic words exactly how I felt at every stage. From the realization that we were “doomed” to still “following him through hell” He’s in prison now unfortunately but I think it saved his life. Thank you BMTH for this absolute piece of beautiful art. You’ve given me a sort of diary piece to hold o to forever to remember that life is about more than whatever you’re facing right now.

It's amazing that no matter how much the band has gone through so many changes in their song styles during this time, they continue to expand the lyric part of their songs in particular, Oliver is really a poet when it comes to writing and putting his feelings into his songs None of your work here has been in vain. each of his albums always ready to surprise, regardless of how it would be done to the public
@milkandcookies79008 жыл бұрын
A lot of people are hating on the change of style but they've stated several times that people change, the things they like change, so if their taste in music changed then obviously they'll focus on making music that appeals to them and makes them happy. So if that's not metal core then you should respect their decision and it you don't like it, then stop listening. No one is forcing you.

This was my girlfriends favorite song. rest in paradise Estela. It’s been 3 years 5 days 28 minutes, since I lost you, and it hurts more and more with every passing day. I come back to this song everyday, because it reminds me of you, and how we would sit in your room or my car for hours just listening to it. I still talk to your family every single day, we have dinners still. But it’s not the same without you. We’re all still heartbroken. Some days I think I’ll never be happy again, other days I wanna die just to be with you….. I’ll love you forever. And when I do die, I know we’ll spend eternity together, infinitely in each others arms. And it still won’t be long enough.

I am a HUGE fan of Underoath and was mainly hyped to see them that it really didn't even occur to me that I was about to see BMTH as well.. turns out that I knew EVERY BMTH song they played that night except for this one which they played during the encore.. it was the FIRST time I ever heard it. To this day it still SLAPS.. what a beautiful song. One of my faves. Thank you BMTH.
