@novianandrian Make sure to buy one starting 2016 because it has the improved crankshaft. 0 oil loss, I change every 10-12k. I drive too many short distances though... minor issues: waste gate rattle but that's not a problem. A software update helped to make it almost silent. Just pay attention to the oil. The oil is the life of this engine. Good oil means good health. :)

i believe theres only one rule of BMW, you have to live in central europe, then these parts aint so expensive and gas has higher quality, these cars are common and many places does only them...

Got one a year ago 190K KM, its beautifull and great to modify but very prone to Oil leaks. Ive had 2 leaks in the turbo and some other leaks aswell. Lookin to sell it due to piling issues, be carefull with ur xenon lights / angel eyes they be expensive af to fix due tot fog.

Mines lasted a year so far with a stage 1 tune, on these its takes it from 136 to over 200hp, but if it breaks I can fix it, my N54 135i with 600hp is more fun though

had mine for 1 year 9 months so far - stage 1 220 BHP 310NM and only changed turbo O ring twice (they cost £3 from BMW directly) for a minor minor oil seep. Excessive oil consumption since I bought it - roughly 1L every 3000 miles but no Smoke in exhaust. Purchased at 65K Miles - now reached 88K in just under 2 years

2015 1 series from 20k to 110k. One transmission issue, everything else has been perfect. Guess I’m lucky.

Engine is notorious for oil leaks, I have a Major oil leak dealing with as we speak.
