BMW 1200 1250GS Sargent Performance plus seat review

I changed my BMW original seat to a Sargent Performance Plus seat and I can't be happier.

Thank you for this review, very informative. PS you mentioned it’s a standard height? According to the part number (621F), it’s listed with Sargent as a low seat height. WS-620F would be standard.

My main concerns about any custom seat and especially the Sargent, as I am almost ready to order one, is how it affects the distance from the seat to the ground AND the distance from the seat to the foot pegs. So, given that the foam used in the Sargent is denser than the stock seat’s foam and presumably therefore less compressible, do you find that: 1) you have a noticeably longer reach to the ground? 2) you have a noticeably more relaxed angle to your legs and hips when your feet are on the pegs? I have one of these on the way. How do you like the Sargent after a couple years? I went on a 300 mile ride yesterday and my stock seat was giving me a lot of grief the last 2/3rds of that ride. Yep butt hurt for most of that ride. The sacrifices we make... Hoping the Sargent gives me less at the very least.

The mesh seat or cover you mentioned do you have a name or link to share? Also great review, I have a 2016 GS1200 and the seat is in high position. It's not bad for short rides but long rides it's not cutting it. And at 6'4" I need all the comfort I can get
