BMW 128i NASA TT5 UMC Outer (AND 5 HOUR ENDURO!!!)

This is my first time running outer loop at UMC! Then after TT competition we hangout for the 6 hour endurance race!

Watching your videos is going to cost me too much money. Love the straight 6 sound. Love what you’ve done to that car. Also love that every time I look there’s no manual 128 for sale anywhere close to me. If one pops up I’m going to have to buy it.

same ^^ Just have to keep looking!! took me almost a year to find a 128i 6MT, ended up finding one 1000 miles away, 80k miles '11 128i 6MT No sunroof, no nav, manual seats for about 10k. It's a great car

Looked like a very nice weekend spent at the track, you got to drive, instruct (which probably means you didn’t pay anything for the track weekend) and got to do some drifting. Can’t go wrong w those. If you don’t mind me asking, how do you run fixed buckets without a cage? What did you do w the lights and airbag safety? Also, I run w NASANE and believe that if you run fixed back seats, you. HAVE to have harnesses and a cage. Am I wrong? Thanks I’m really curious as we both drive the same N51 128i and am on the edge of adding the combo of seats/six points/cage and am turned off due to the cost. Looking forward to your reply!

I retain my three point factory seatbelt. I don't believe you are required a cage for TT or any of that equipment for TT, although it is preferred. My bride seats are actually the reclining model, so I do believe they are designed to work with a regular seatbelt as well as harnesses
