BMW 2002 nose panel, how to remove te front panel Restoration

For the sake of clarity, you can also grind out everything from the front panel in order to be able to deal with those rear spotwelds. i know that too. but i've drilled out spot welds here and there, but my intention is to use end parts of the old nose that might come in handy someday :)

Good work! You have inspired me to start the project on my ‘73. You mentioned the supplier you got your parts from. Some items such as rear panel I cannot find, who would you recommend going with? Thank you for sharing your work! Thanks

Honestly I won't be able to help you with that either , this rear panel I was very lucky that I was able to order it , because shortly after it was no longer available , unfortunately it's really searching for parts either google and or local sites and hope that someone in your area still has something lying around , good luck with the search and your project!

yes, because I want it to be completely rust free while I've really taken it apart 😁
