This is a 2006 BMW 330i sedan in manual. It makes for a great daily while still being fun.

It’s an awesome car. I had one nearly identical: ‘06 330i 6mt, ZSP, no iDrive. Only difference I can see is mine had walnut interior trim. It’s the only car I’ve ever owned that I had zero desire to change out the stock wheels on, I loved the way they look and still do. Only thing I did was spacers, 20mm rear/15mm front. Owned that car for 9 years and did everything from track days to extended road trips with it, just great all around. Favorite memory is a late night run from Cambridge, MA to Odenton, MD, six hours flat on one tank of gas. Coasted in on fumes, but I did make it haha. I’m kinda missing it which is how I wound up here. It didn’t go too far though, sold it to my father in law and he still has it. Maybe I’ll try to get it back at some point

I owned a 6 speed just like this one. What a joy to drive. I drove the Florida Turnpike between South Florida and Orlando nearly weekly. Still looks good.

The E90 330i with 6 speed manual and sport package is truly a used car hidden gem today. Great daily driver cars for the BMW enthusiast! The version tested here has wheels from the sport package (and also looks like ride height), so I am assuming it has the factory sport package. The sport package is really important to get if you are looking for a used 330i, as the seats are fantastic and worth it alone.

Jesse Crane , I bought mine 4 months Ago and I absolutely love it ! Best car I have ever owned , good torque and I average 28 mpg highway not bad for a car with 255 hp.

@jaysonmercado81033 жыл бұрын
@@digitalsmithy it was very reliable,,, the only thing that went wrong was the disa valve. The rest was just basic maintenance oil changes and replaced spark plugs once. I sold it after a year of owning it. I currently have a 335i right now. I really regret selling that car because it was a four door and super practical with great mpg...The 335i is a better performing car but it’s been a nightmare on maintenance. I will definitely recommend getting a 2006 330i plenty of power and it’s a naturally aspirated engine. When you shop around check to see if the water pump has been replaced already that goes bad on all the models. Make sure you get one with records

Jayson Mercado thanks so much for the quick response! There is a very clean, winter stored, 1 owner 330i for $8k. 136k miles but it was extremely well maintained. I think it’s a deal or at least a fair price. Thanks again!

People are so clueless on BUYING cars. You can get this sport package BMW that's pretty RELIABLE. Clean car, great handleing, great power for like $7500. But people go and finance a Camry for 25k lol this 10yo car handles and drives better than brand new Camry and is CHEAPER. But when people see a BMW they automatically assume you driving a 40k car. It's because most people have no fucking idea how to buy cars.

Camry's hold value better, get better gas mileage, not saying the BMW is unreliable but defiantly more so than the Camry. If youre doing your service at a shop the Camry will be literally thousands cheaper, and in your example its a newer car so may have better safety features or just better features all around. So there are some legitimate reasons to buy a Camry over a BMW you just have your head up your ass 🧐
@mussabmokhtar25174 жыл бұрын
Zane and Brian have some very strong points (although no need to insult the bloke Zane) The Camry is UNDOUBTEDLY more reliable than the Beamer. But I guarantee you will not have nearly as much fun in that Toyota. You cannot compare a fwd to a manual rwd.
@jackson226684 жыл бұрын
@Slot Addict Slots if you dont do the maintenance on time or have fuck all clue about how to maintain it so you just change the oil and thats it, yes its unreliable. Besides, its a BMW, of course its gonna be expensive. You get what you pay. Thats like saying you get a gold digger wife and complains that she always asks for large amount of money.
@sporeranier4 жыл бұрын

I've had a 2006 E90 M-Sport 330i for the last five years. Great car, a hidden gem and amazing value at today's prices. If you are looking to tighten up the handling go for a Bilstein B12 suspension upgrade, the N52 engine also sounds better than the later N53. The 2005 to 2006 model also has hydraulic steering which is superior to the electric rack as it provides more feedback and is generally nicer to drive.

The E90 is smaller and more fun to drive, the E60 is all about lazy luxury driving. The N52 engine is super smooth so suits lazy driving if that's your thing. I have an E90 M-Sport which gives the car a sporty feel. If you must have a bigger car consider a V8 such as an E60 545i or even better a 550i.
