There is a 535d which I believe started production in 2014 with the 335s ending in 2012. The 5 series has the same motor, but I wonder how it performs in a larger frame?

The diesel f10 has a different engine - N57 (opposed to M57 in e90)

@@v1adio779 yes. I now own a F10. I don't recall if I really thought it was an M57 or N57z but I'm aware of the difference, which isn't much but the twin scroll turbo as opposed to the bi-turbo.

How is the exhaust smell after you did the deletes? My wife drives my 535dx and is sensitive to fumes. I've also read that you only really smell the diesel when stopped and the windows open after you have done the ABC delete.

It's fairly awful, to avoid a lot of the smell you can put a high flow cat in the exhaust. You only smell it when parked and windows are down to be honest, but when you roll into your house and get out, you'll always get a whiff

Hey man I just bought a 335d and I've been watching all of your videos! I'm pretty stoked on the car and am probably going to do similar mods. What would you suggest doing first? If there was one or two things you wish you would have done before anything else, what would that be?

Definitely get the carbon buildup cleaned up first, then do the ABC delete with the BPC tune. Everthing else comes second in this car.

I know, it's more like foreshadowing, lining up to get upgraded suspension and LSD for the 335d, to make it a "real" diesel M3. If given the choice, I'd pick the 335d over an E90 M3 all day

My 2010 335d is a beast! I’m doing the 2.8 jr tune soon!! My issue is the traction.. I’ve read that you can’t just use a 335is or m3 lsd .. different gear ratio. What are we gonna do? 😅

Thats the neat part, you don't. You can either revert it back to stock form to pass emissions, and then get rid of it right after you pass, or pay a shop some extra money to pass you

Hey brother I have a 2010 335d and I recently replaced the DEF tank and after replacing it the car still reads the 00 count down and won't start . does anything have to be reset ? I called everywhere and there saying that the car should've just went back to normal
