Oh my thank you so much I’m in the middle of changing mine and was struggling with the auxiliary radiator line

Installing the driver’s side AT coolant line prior to installing the radiator makes things a lot easier. Especially if you run a 3” lower charge pipe.

I spent four hours calling my local Porsche parts counter, then Porsche of North America, then the best reviewed indy in my state, and none could help me with a unique part. They were invested, too. It was a real conundrum. I called FCP Euro, and they gave me the part number within two minutes. Four days later, I installed it, and it was a perfect fit.

Why were you calling Porsche for BMW Parts when the part would be featured in a BMW Catalog vs a Porsche Catalog? That's like me traveling to Sweden trying to find Latinas in a predominate European Demographic. 😂

@@ttvmikrowave I was looking for a Porsche part that even Porsche couldn't identify. FCP Euro carries Porsche parts. FCP Euro found it quickly. What's the confusion?

@@MichaelAMangone Ah. The confusion was how this video was about BMW Thangz vs. Porsche Thangz. 😁 At any rate, good for you for a minute I thought you might be a programmed AI Bot commenting just to comment. 😎

34:06 notice he says the radiator has two useless [No no no, it’s worse than useless they’re in the way] tabs. That lock in with your fan shroud….. If that were the case then your fan shroud would be sticking out of your hood. I recommend cutting them off before you even insert the radiator or you’ll be having a head ache trying to clear them.

I just installed mine and I did not have to cut them. I pulled the fan a little more toward the engine from the bottom and tightly passed those lock in tabs and it fit without locking in the fan. It appears those are used to properly align the fan not really to hold it in place. Also, it seems CSF is exepcting a smaller fan to be able to use those tabs.

I bought a radiator like that, for my 335i, but I ended up giving up on installing it... I put everything in place, but the fan hurt very hard and was putting pressure on one of the main tubes, so the radiator leaked there, and it kept It's all too fair, any tips?

Hi what is the address for ur garage

Possibly too efficient. My 2011 335xi can't reach temperature after installing it. Keep getting thermostat stuck open code and neither oil nor coolant reaches temperature. I replacement the thermostat water pump and coolant temperature sensor and still no luck. I have taken it to a reputable shop and the problem remains. I reached out to FCPEURO and they confirmed that this is fairly common in the winter months. The only solution is to block off parts of the radiator, per only forums and FCPEURO and still doesn't make that much of a difference-BMW High Performance Aluminum Radiator - CSF 7046 -at $550, It's very disappointment.
