I changed my 530d both rear discs and pads with sensor at BMW service centre Cost 52000₹ post discount

You changed the discs as well . The rear pads cost will be around 20k and the remaining for the discs then . Thanks for the information brother . I have not changed the discs yet . Now I know what to expect when it’s time .

Hello , yes I did see that they have loaded the car with all the features . But to be honest , the auto park and remote parking with the key using the display key is something I have never used in my 3 years of ownership of the car . So I would not consider those as deal breakers . If the car is able to satisfy our practical needs then it’s a go for me ☺️. Curious to know what Mahindra is offering with respect to battery warranty. Lifetime would be perfect . Fingers crossed 🤞

Yes you are right . Information is what matters and not the source is what I believe . We all get info from one source or the other. I don’t think there is anything wrong in getting it from anywhere as long as what is shared is right .

For instance "weight of engine is in front" - yes, but your weight distribution is close to 50:50. Main issue is that weight transfers to the front during braking, which is not mentioned by chatGPT. Another issue - mentioned extra sensors are used in front - but in your car brake pad wear sensors are used both in front and rear. Hence my statement - it's almost generic and useless information. If it was useful, precise and accurate, of course the source does not matter.

The information is not for my car . This is indeed a generic information why the front brake pads are costlier compared to the rear . I know my car has sensors at both front and rear. Anything specific to my car is the cost . The rest about the price difference is applicable in all cars . Hence generic. And brother , there might be people who has not thought of factors on why the pads at the front are costly . I know a lot of them . You might be knowing everything but that’s not the case with everyone . I happily admit that I don’t know more than you and I don’t feel ashamed. Yes bro , the front pads lasted for close to 43k kms for my driving style .

Mine will wear out in another 4K kms. Will get the notification in idrive. Service pack will take care of it.
