BMW 850i E31 Review | A manual V12 GT unicorn

In this video, I review a BMW 850i E31 which has a naturally aspirated V12 paired with a 6 speed manual gearbox which was quite a rare combination. It was the "budget" V12 option as it was below the BMW 850CSi yet that car is a shadow of what BMW could do with the E31 - the BMW M8. There's lots of V12 goodness to discuss here and why even the base 850i is a marvellous car.

This video moved me on many levels guys 🙏 I often wonder what would happen to my 8 if something happened to me... driving it minimum once a week for last 13 years is the best time of my week. Like a holiday from everything. Bless Sarwar for keeping Dr Cats "mechanical pet" alive (my cars are my pets). And it's made me want a V12! I'm always driving arm out the window too so perhaps not a manual ha ha 🤣 Thanks for making these videos...they really showed what it's like to drive to e31's! In fact I've never even sat inside any e31 except mine. So was a pleasure to watch these! 🙏

The V12 is an amazing experience. Completely different to the V8 but I think the manual is the big thing I'm glad I'm giving the E31 community some exposure as well

Mistake at 1:28 minute: NOT rough 160, but exactly 1,510 units of the E31 850CSi were built … Please correct it by subtitle.

Little mistake took place starting at 1:25 minute: The engine of the E31 850CSi does NOT have 5.7 liters, since 5,576 cc make 5.6 liters … Not a big issue, but if You want, correct it by subtitle.

......the rear wheels are custom reworked, right? It looks like someone removed OEM central spokes and installed the starfish into wider forged barel... I didn't know it mightbe done supposing these wheels are monobock....
